Sony taking away 100% backward compatiability for the Europeans,AU, and Middle East is a factor. This will hurt Sony by pissing off ALOT of international Gamers. And hot tempered emotions could tip the balance in favor for Nintendo or Microsoft. However Sony could care less. Because Ken Kuturagi is betting EVERYTHING, all their Chips, for the long haul. The long run. meaning the year 2011,2012, 2013 is when EVERYONE in the world is into Blue-ray and has an HD-TV. big gamble if u ask me....
