My Wii will not turn on anymore after just 2 months of only moderate use. Any else have a similar experience and, if so, how was Nintendo at handling the issue?

mwynalda41

could you explain exactly how that happened?

Clearly, it's a mixture of both skill and luck. But, if i had to choose one, i'd definitely say that there's more skill involved than luck. If you've been driving around rainbow road for a while, you'll notice that this particular track's main focus is avoiding falls rather than stacking up items, so for this particular course it's definitely skill. As for the other courses it's both skill and luck, but skill plays a more important role as always.

side-scrolling on Wiiware,

On retail:

More intense singleplayer withoutneglecting the puzzle elements, and a strong multiplayer base with vehicles and twists to the traditional FPS formula.

I think that Pokemon would work VERY well for the younger audience. I remember the days when i used to be a pokemaniac, always trying to keep up with the hype. For me, those days are gone.

I think that a Mario MMOG (or MMOP, if you prefer) would work better. Mario belongs to everyone. The reason i didn't choose Hyrule is because it would be pretty similar to many MMORPGs. I know that this idea won't be implemented any time soon. However, i strongly believe that Nintendo would consider such an idea for their next console if not for the Wii.

Well Hyrule seems more of an obvious choice because it is like most of the fantasy type games out the like WoW.

Mario however, I'm not sure how it will work. the Mario universe erm, seem to include many platforming stuff, so I guess it will be an MMOP or Massively Multiplayer Online Platformer?

The first thing they should do is make a Pokemon MMO. The Pokemon Universe has everything a standard MMO needs. It has the world, the adventure, the PvP and PvE, rare Items (master ball) and Pokemon (legendaries) that everyone will wanna fight for.

[QUOTE="Tensai-teki772"]can someone please tell me what a MMOG IS ? onesimos

This is from Wikipedia on Massive Multiplayer Online Game:

"A massively multiplayer online game (also called MMOG or simply MMO) is a video game which is capable of supporting hundreds or thousands of players simultaneously."

If I have a choice on MMOG, it would be based on the Mushroom Kingdom because a game taking place in Hyrule would not be original (it may remind me of Final Fantasy XI, EverQuest, or the popular World of Warcraft). I do not think there is any existing MMOG that has a setting based on the Mushroom Kingdom.

Well said. Instead of following the popular formula of other MMOGs, which contain a serious story and very similar character classes, the Mushroom Kingdom will take the MMOG arena to a whole new level. It will have charming characters, loads of humor and many elements that are uncommon in the other online games.
