You seem to know yourself, so why ask someone else?

No reason? Doesn't represent Dead Island?

It represents it perfectly. If you played the first one, you would know there are achievements leveled directly at decapitations. And I'll be damned if the first group of enemies you run into doesn't have at least 3 bikini girls.

I really don't see the issue on this one. Say what you want, but really, where does it end? If we are going to ban this statue, should we not ban the game? Or would the statue be okay if it had removable limbs and a head?

It's too slippery a slope, and the arguments against just aren't adding up. If it was a man's torso we wouldn't be hearing these arguments. At all. If it had a head and arms, same thing. But if you look at it from a game point of view, it's a corpse. And in the game, you actually go through the actions of removing said head and limbs.

What's truly worse?

F'n watchdog whiners... jesus christ, what is the world coming to?

I'm not desensitized. Not by a long shot. But I do pride myself on knowing fact from fiction. It's a freakin' plastic statue. Get over it.

@Francisismyhero - Backwards thinking and logic my friend, and also you seem to be making bigger problems than those that exist. I am definitely NOT part of the problem by not being offended by this statue. What I AM is able to make an informed, educated decision on my own. And my decision is, this statue is cool as hell. It fits the motif of the game pefectly.

Where does your issue with this statue lie? I know you said sexual violence, but it's not even hinted at here. Yes, sex and violence are both depicted, but linking them together completely is absurd. There will always be people such as yourself who want to find a deeper meaning and message in a harmless object. I don't understand it, personally, but hey, if you want to tirade with a bleeding heart and look out for, I guess, everyone... then who am I to stop you?

Crusade away. But just know in the back of your mind that your kind of thinking will always set people back further than any other kind of thinking. How about instead of banning these things, we allow open discussion over them? Creating taboo's just strengthens the negative aspects.

Time to grow up and realize people, different groups have different tastes.

Tried the demo, not the whole game, so I'll reserve my full judgement.

But I have to say the only thing that KILLS this game for me is the view-distance. With so many twisting roads and barriers, it's hard to tell where you're going without a lot of bumping around.

Other than that, the game is kinda fun (in a very straightforward way).

Good god, this video was annoying. Shaun looks bored as hell, and doesn't even pay attention to what Max is saying.

And is Max saying "zambies"? Is that on purpose?

vergil_lives: Wrong... sorry to say. Poison is a man, or was, depending on how you look at it. In Japan she is definitely NOT considered a woman, at least not any more: "Street Fighter IV's producer Yoshinori Ono, when asked in an interview about the matter, stated "Let's set the record straight: in North America, Poison is officially a post-op transsexual. But in Japan, she simply tucks her business away to look female." Anyways, back to the topic at hand: These cards are hilarious!
