I'm looking for some 5.1 surround sound headphones to use while I play my ps3. Does anyone know of some good pair that I could use? I'm on a bit of a budget too so they don't have to be the priciest of sets. Thanks in advance!Cogwork
I got a Sony MDR-7505. It's not classified as 5.1 surround sound headphones, actually classified under "Profesional Dynamic Stereo Surround Sound Headphones" but they can support and playback beyond that kind of signal (beyond 5.1, I think it can virtualize a 10.1 and 10.2 system which literally costs thousands and thousands of dollars and which only BOSE sells at the moment) so I got them for my MAC + PS3.
I've been hearing rumours that AC6 is not a timed-exclusive after all and that it's XBOX 360 exclusive only. I'm really disappointed in Namco Bandai if this is the case since it was the PlayStation consoles that made their game so big. My 3 greatest series on PS and PS2 were the Ace Combat series, Final Fantasy series, and Metal Gear Solid series. They better make a PS3 version, not that I can do anything about it if they do, because I'm sure not buying a 360 just to play one game.
It looks really awesome, I'll give it a rent for sure. I've never played the Call of Duty series entirely, the only installment I've played were the original and COD3, which weren't bad, they were actually good. COD4 looks very promising, but I've been a fan of the Soldier of Fortune series. Yeah I know it has nothing to do with COD4, but both games are "modern warfare" genres and I really want to get Assassin's Creed which I pre-ordered today, and I'll also be trading in Oblivion soon for Oblivion GOTY Edition (which has 2 expansions + mods). I run on a limited budget being a student so I'm not too sure about COD4, it will depend if it really has an awesome replay value.
It doesn't look anything like the other trailers, the image is so clear! This game is going to own, I don't even care about system wars anymore! Getting a PS3 for this game is a good enough reason to even get a PS3 in the first place!!! As long you get a few more games lol.
Ok guys i know everyone and their grandmother in law has made one of these threads but lets face it! Its almost 2008 and there is no reason anyone would want to buy a triple.

Who wants to play those when you can play bioshock, halo 3, forza 2, orange box, perfect dark, gears and much more on the 360 and pc?
People may say that Lame Gear Solid and FF 13 can save the ps3 but those titles arent very mainstream at all and will not boost sales by much. I say sony should go back to making walkmans and dishwashers.
It's really good, the tutorial is boring though, play more of it, you'll see. The story is fantastic and the game just never ends! I'm getting the GOTY edition for PS3 tomorrow after I trade in the original copy that I have right now.
