@Scout_Taron @Kevin-V Not his fault if your scale is broken. On a scale of zero to ten, five to six is average. Seven is above average, or good. Eight will be something great. Nine, excellent. People just think every game that's mildly good deserves a nine, and get mad when it doesn't meet their hype.

@unreal101 @Tauu Yeah, just like they lost all their money on the Wii, right? Like all doomsayers were stating before and after the Wii launched. lmao.

Console fans are so dumb sometimes - I remember that Gabe Newell had said he liked the Wii, and the way Nintendo was going, and people thought he was a moron. Well, for starters he owns Valve. Secondly, he was right.

Why the hate from a lot of people? In my opinion, any solid research is a valid starting point for a hypothesis. If they believe violent video games can influence a person's actions or personality, they -SHOULD- study it. And if it gives conclusive evidence that they are bad (I hope they aren't, as I enjoy video games as much as anyone else here), measures should be taken that they are allowed only to psychologically mature people (AKA most adults).

Better sounds ideal, since it seems to remove the non-essential features (haven't used a disc drive in.. years) and reduces the cost.

@HitmanSquirrel Me too, not because I'm content but because as a PC gamer I don't expect to have a change going to next generation nearly as large as the one consoles will have.

@hitomo @Scorpion2929 I find it specially offensive when people credit a game to the publisher rather than the developer (unless you genuinely didn't know, in that case it's fine :p). The publisher markets the game and handles the deal - an important aspect of the business, sure - but they have very little influence (usually the bigger the publisher, the bigger the influence) in the actual game. FYI: CD Projekt Red developed The Witcher 2 - fantastic game, and fantastic developers.

The Wii U's gamepad will make several genres that otherwise were only accessible on the PC play that much better on consoles, much like the Wiimote did to games of the shooting genre. I can't wait to see hardcore role-playing games and other games which require multiple shortcut keys being performed almost as good as on a keyboard with the touch-screen.

This looks genuinely interesting. Granted, I'd rather they published it for the PC as well, since I rid myself of any console I don't use anymore. Although I'm usually skeptical about crowd-funding/kickstarter games, the community interaction they have makes it a more valid method than other kickstarters.
