Yes, I want something about space. I also like Homeworld very much, in fact it's one of my favorite space games so far - but there is no game you can play forever :)

Thank you! I hope I have enough time to check Nexus: The Jupiter Incident this weekend.

I think the genre works well, it sounds like tactical RTS what you are describing. Games like Nexus: The Jupiter Incident and maybe other non-space tactical RTSs like Ground Control and even the more conventional, current-era Wargame: AIrLand Battle (or European Escalation, Red Dragon) might be what you are looking for.

If it is space you want, and you're willing to go more traditional, Homeworld 1 and 2 are two of my favorite games. They have resource gathering in them, but it's all about your fleet and tactics for the most part.

But I'd wager Nexus: The Jupiter Incident is a game that fits what you want.

While wondering at some new strategies, space sims and Armada in particular, I asked myself many times if there is a way I could play an RTS which is like a wargame. Some of usual space 4X strategies give me this feeling but not in the dynamic and way I want it to be - to be honest, it's very hard to give me a game which a will complete in any way.

So, I found one thing which, I gues, is not very well known - Starfall Tactics. It says, that it mixes RTS and Wargame:

As a wargame, Starfall Tactics primarily focuses on the tactical elements of combat, where the action revolves around fleets and each individual unit's capabilities, rather than whole armies. There is also no base building or extensive economy management, although players do get to make interesting choices in this area.

At the same time, RTS players will feel right at home in Starfall Tactics, due to familiar controls and UI elements, as well as similar gameplay notions.

The only thing I am aware of is will it be very difficult to play? Those lines of fire, real-time projectile impact, friendly fire, ramming and so on scaring me a little bit - it reminds me of trying to play EVE...which was pretty hard to begin.

So, what do you think of this mix of genres? Is it worth playing something like this?

AngryWave sounds great to me - at least, better than others. Catchy, clear, easy to remember, enough agressive.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent scared me so much that I still can't complete it and need my boyfriend standing behind my back when I rarely try to play it.

Bloodborne will be better this way. Fallout 4 is not that game you can admire a lot, I find this creation a little bit strange comparing to other parts and RPGs in genral.

Both are good. I do love PS for the games you can play on it, but can't live without kinect on every home party. Vote for PS as I feel it closer to my life :)

I've just bought Overwatch. Can't wait until I can play it.
