[QUOTE="Gue1"]Dude, you sound like you love the game...Says the guywith Kratos on his PSN ID thing.Just wait until you see the final battle... The best thing is that GOWIII starts just where GOWII ends!
You know, I used to hate the series but it was that I just didn't understand it. I was always comparing it with Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry and the battle system seemed so crap compared to them. On top of that I never went past the hydra's battle because I got bored but GOW it's more than just a hack & slash. It has a well made mega epic story with the back-story from the real greek mythology. GOW is just as brutal and violent as the real deal.
Kratos is the only new thing here and it was wel developed. Just by seeing Kratos, his scars and other details you know there's some heavy story behind him. He has the huge scar in his face made by a barbarian before making the pact with Ares, the other one in his stomach made from when Zeus betrayed him, the white skin because ofthe ashesof his family(from there the nick, "the ofghost of sparta").
Now moving on from the story, GOW is very heavy on platforming and puzzles, something none other hack & slash offers. Plus GOW has the best swimming mechanics of any game ever including. Most of the time, the underwater levels are the most annoying, boring and total crap on any game but in GOW they are awesome! Another thing is that all the boss battles always have a twist and they are very cinematic. To that add the incredible art direction, brutality and sex just like in the real greek mythology. But obviously, this is not a game for kids...But GOW is art!
Even the music's wonderful and GOWIII will have Orchestral music!!!!
