I own a PS3 and have PS Plus.

My wife owns a PS Vita and does NOT have PS Plus.

We obviously have our own profiles and own trophies.

How can we get our free PS Plus games onto the Vita? Is there a way for me to link her to my account?

Similar, but different, question.  Alice Madness Returns is also discounted real cheap ($4.00).  Does anyone know if it comes with the original Alice?  I think the retail version had a dl code or something.

I just watched a 12 minute demo of Sonic Lost World, I'm surprised it isn't getting more attention.  From both Nintendo and the community.

1. Mario Kart 8

2. Super Mario 3D World

3. Sonic Lost World

Does anyone else think the Wii U has the potential to outsell PS4 and Xbox One this holiday? Don't get me wrong, I think long term the Wii U will sell the least consoles, but I feel like they are primed for a good holiday 2013.  Mario Kart and Mario both have the projected fall launch and at that point hopefully we have seen a new Metroid, Sonic, Zelda, and Smash Bros. Plus Pikmin, Rayman, and Wonderful 101 will be on the market.  All Nintendo really needs is a price cut before the holiday.

I think Parents are more likely to buy a Nintendo with all those games for around 229.00 than a new PS4 or X1 with a much higher price tag and less games.  And heck if Nintendo can get a new Wii Sports, Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros by holiday 2014 (I doubt it) then they are right in the console race.

I was under the impression that this game was published by Nintendo.  Now it will be on Xbox 360 and PS3.  How does that work?  At the very least, didn't Nintendo play a part in saving this game.  This has to  be damaging to that partnership.

I'm still trying to decide on some third party games and was wondering if anyone had some recommendations. I haven't found a lot of info online regarding these games. I have not played them on other consoles yet because I have intentially been waiting to see how the WiiU versions are. I own a Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and now Wii U and am looking for the best experience.

So far I decided to not pick up Batman Arkham city on Wii U because of some frame rate concerns and weak or awkward gamepad gameplay. I also am going to pass on Mass Effect 3 for Wii U due to the lack of upcoming DLC.

Any word on Assassins Creed III and Darksiders II?

Terms like the "hardcore gamer" and the "casual gamer" unfortunately havent left yet. And now with the Wii U these terms are all over the place.

So let me flip the script by looking at some Wii U games.

Pikmin 3 and the Wonderful 101 are two games that focus heavily on design. Mario and Rayman also have tight designs but the formula is much older, even if the games are well done and well crafted. From what has been shown off and discussed, Zombi U has been developed from a design perspective in order to get back to the roots of the survival horror experience. Gameplay design as the driving force during production is somewhat rare now days. These games are very carefully crafted and have been built with quality design in mind.

These are the games being deemed as "casual". However, these are the types of games many people like me are screaming for. Many people want a carefully crafted and design focused experience, these are the elite games, the "hardcore" if you will.

Now lets look at Darksiders II. Another exciting launch game for the Wii U, however it is a game with a greater focus on appealing to the masses and making money then it is design. When Darksiders was created, they did what a lot of companies do and literally made a list of what sells and tried to incorporate it all into a game. The irony here is this "hardcore" game like many other "hardcore" games, is really just put together with the average gamer in mind. The whole "carefully crafted" thing doesn't really exist here.

Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101, Rayman, Mario, and Zombi U are the hardcore games the gaming industry needs.

Darksiders II is good, but clearly designed for the average regular ol casual gamer.

Oh, and grandma on the couch watching netflix, shes not a gamer at all. Now can we please just throw the script out the window?

I agree with most people here that the Xbox 360 had the strongest launch. I picked up Call of Duty 2, Condemned: Criminal Origins, and Perfect Dark Zero at launch. I later ended up with Kameo: Elements of Power, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and Quake 4. That is pretty good for a launch.

Second for me is the Wii. Playing Wii Sports was one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've had with this generation. I also picked up The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Trauma Center: Second Opinion. However it is worth noting that because of Nintendos tendency to do a "launch window" Smash Bros. and WarioWare came soon after launch and I loved those games. If we were to count those, which I am not, then the Wii possibly gets the nod.

The PS3 was mostly used as a Blu-ray player for me initially; my only launch game was Resistance: Fall of man.

No, I won't be doing the deal. I have an original PS3 that is backwards compatible with PS2 and PS1 games so I probably will not be getting rid of that anytime soon. I will probably trade in my xbox 360 but not until I own their next console. I am not sure what I am going to do with my Wii, I want to trade it in but then I will not have anything to play my Gamecube games on. I am dissapointed that Nintendo is not supporting gamecube with the Wii U.
