If I could transform all the ignorance in this thread into chickens, I would have enough feathers to build a set of wings and fly away to a far off land where I could kill myself in disgust.

As for the de-feathered chickens, I would make sure to drop them off over a starving population, so something good could come of all this.

We have all seen the infamous "sack" of Brett Favre, and if you have not, check Youtube(IT WON'T LET ME LINK THE VIDEO!!!!!)

So the question is this: does Jared Allen deserve the single season sack record over Michael Strahan?

Personally, I am not for changing record books on something so trivial, but I think Allen has earned the Defensive Player of the Year award, and that his season will go down as one of the best from a DE in NFL history.

The Eagles collapse is still my favorite story of 2011, even more than my Packers being undefeated. But the craptastic way DeSean Jeackson is playing surprises even me.

This kid needs to learn a few things, mainly that being a Number 1 means making the big catches when your team needs you most. You sir, are no Larry Fitzgerald.

When Vince Young outplays you, then you have no place in the Hall of Fame.

When did Vince Young, who got tackled one on one by a 150 pound receiver, outplay Vick?

I watched the game, and Vince Young looked better than Mike Vick has this year. He actually made a few nice throws, and he did throw for 400 yards, and even if half of them were garbage yards, it is still an impressive number.

Mike Vick should not even be in the discussion for the HoF. It is offensive to the players who actually were good enough.

If they run the table and win the SB, then yes. They are the greatest team ever.

Otherwise, no.

If Cunningham isn't in the HOF, Vick has no place being mentioned. Not even close. Even the thought gives me Diabetes-like symptoms.

No point in arguing with him about Vick... the dude is Canton bound as far as he is concerned.

The NFL is about pass rushers, OT and QB's. Great defenses do win championships, but it doesn't have to be a great all around defense: it has to be a great pass rushing defense. All the run stuffers and CB's in the world won't win you a SB anymore. You need guys who get into the backfield and disrupt the passing attack, peroid. All of those Championship defense could get after the QB, and if you can get after the QB, your CB' don't have to be great.

As crazy as it sounds, I am going to stick up for Suh a little bit.

His on the field actions were completely unacceptable. I won't defend those. However, I would like to stick up for that bizzare post-game press conference.

All I have heard is that Suh is either delusional and spoiled or stupid for making those comments. I don't think Suh was delusional, nor do I think he is stupid: he has anger issues, of that there is no doubt. He lost it, and by the time the post-game came around, he had cooled off enough to know that he was in big trouble. Like suspension trouble. The mistake he made was talking to the media: I think Suh panicked. He was trying to save face, trying to lessen his punishment. He looked freaked out to me during his press conference, and I think he was: he is a young man who made a mistake and dug the hole deeper by trying to save himself instead of fall on his sword.

3 games and a $75,000 fine.

Also, Kolb stealing signals? REALLY?

You do know offensive players move from team to team all the time...

No_Hablo_Ingles

He admitting to stealing signals... on a radio station... in Philly

No, he said he would help the defense understand the offense

Players go from team to team all the time, yet only Eagles fan call foul... I didn't hear the Jets whining about Danny Woodhead going to the Pats and spilling the dirt on their offense.
