HALO 3, COD4,GEARS,MGS4,BRAWL,GALAXY

ALL CLASSICS.

tccavey2

Seriously?

MGS4 definitely yes. Gears and galaxy maybe, seeing we're desperate for classics. Brawl is just a rehashing. And claiming the Halo and COD franchises are classics is laughable. Seriously Halo and COD classics??? This is blatant proof gamers and our games are both degrading.

I'd say a PSP. Throw a huge memory stick in it and you'll have yourself a portable music and video player on top of a great gaming system. And if you own a PS3 then you can take advantage of the whole remote play thing from anywhere in the world. And despite the scratches, you already own a DS.

But when it comes down to it the same people who prefer a PS3 prefer a PSP and the same goes with a Wii and DS. Each of these portables are similar to their big brothers.

So I was bored and stumbled across this ebay auction...

disgraceful ebay link

It appears Goodwill has begun selling items on ebay that are deemed valuable by collectors. I remember circa ten years ago going to Goodwill every chance I got to buy fading technologies and forgotten video games for dirt cheap prices. I'm talking about a Sega Master System, all cords, two controllers and a box of games for $5. Or the time I bought a TI-99/4a, all cords, two controllers and three games for $3. And the time I bought an Atari 2600, all cords, two controllers and a box of games for $5. I also own four Genesis' each bought for about $5, all came with cords, controllers and games. There are many other items I paid pocket lint for like a $200 direct-drive turntable for $15, but you get the point. Now when I walk into a modern day Goodwill all I see are cordless, controllerless, gameless, yellow stained SNES consoles for $25+. BS! And that's even if you're lucky to spot a video game or system there anymore. So they've jacked up all the prices on their electronics, especially the video games, and are now channeling vintage video games to ebay. F' them and F' ebay. There used to be a community, thrill and hunt for vintage technologies. I earned my two Turbografx 16's and one TG16-CD consoles all with games, cords and controllers for a combined cost of a Chinese twelve year olds monthly salary. New generations can no longer experience the victory of being a thrift store rat and finding a rare gaming console for less than or equal to $5. What a shame...

Im comparison to melee, brawl is much more simple, slower, and all the characters feel floaty. The characters also take at least 130% of damage before you can even send them flying.

was still a good game, just felt more casual compared to Melee. I played as Diddy, DeDeDe, Pokemon trainer, Pikachu, Kirby, Link, Toon Link, Captain Falcon (sucks now BTW), Marth, Lucario (better than mewtwo FYI), Wolf, Bowser, and Yoshi. Overall I found Pikachu had a MASSIVE increase in energy, DeDeDe is a powerhouse, Pokemon Trainer was cool, Kirby didn't change, link got stronger with projectiles, Toon link was weak and very floaty, Falcon sucked, Marth was identical just his side B was quicker, Lucario was great, Wolf was ok, Bowser was slower and yoshi was identical.

Melee sucked. The original was perfect and Melee was a terrible follow up that allowed button mashers to always come out on top. How you described Brawl it sounds closer to the N64 version which would be awesome if true. However, I don't own a Wii so I'll have to wait for the friends of mine that wasted their money on a Wii to pick it up. Wii is too much for too little. It's a $100 or $150 (max) product successfully marketed as a reasonably priced $250 product.

Even worse trend present... online multiplayer oriented games 65-75$ dominating the market... in one to two years after their release no one will be playing it online ever again making the game worthless.

You can't just blow THC tar off of a circuit board with compressed air. It looks like this stoner turned his PS3 into a bong. Nothing against ganja, but that's what you get for hot boxing your PS3 in a room on a daily basis.

If only they would've settled on Zelda or Halo as the game's name, then it likely would've received a 9.5+ rating.

Reggie Fils-Aime seems like the type of person that's really annoying and desperate for friends. Where after feeling sorry for him you break down and let him hang out with you to make him feel better about himself. But then due to the lack of underdeveloped social skills he obsessively calls you and you have to finally flat out say to his face that he's an annoying loser and to get lost.

Microsoft speakers just seem like straight up a$$ holes.
