I see where hes comming from and i agree a lot of japanese games do feel unessesary in that regard. its actaully a pretty valid point but it does suck that the attention span for games has shortened to so little.
So to beat COD EA became COD. Sorry EA not feeling it any more if you want to beat your competion offer something more and offer something better show your better then them then copying and pasteing their stratagy that you were bashing in the past.
Agreed the main stream in gaming has become a joke. when i see something like Ys oath in felghan (excellent game on PC for steam BTW) where i get my ass servered on a platter on normal (it has easy and very easy for people who just want to cruise it) then the game follows up with hard mode night mare mode AND inferno all being harder then normal which is already hard all i can say is damn. Demons souls isnt all that hard its challanging and much harder in contrast to the crap we get now a days but when i see somelike like Ys then other games that feel like the developer has zero respect for the player it just hurts.
I would have prefered sony to have used a more powerstone style then SSB. For all stars. i feel like compeating with something as good as smash is already stupid. smash is a excellent game hell i would buy that game for its music alone. the character line up is awesome the gameplay is loads of fun and then there is hacks. The other thing i was happy about with brawl is that because there is no online i actaully have to meet people in person its a social game casuals and bigger fans alike can play SSB and enjoy it i just dont see that same pull on play station all stars and as a result until it comes out i cant help but think very little of it.
This guy is a creative genius hell as a designer my self i would be a fool to alienate a single genre of games. MYamoto would see an FPS as an opertunity to try some new things that he hasnt tried in a product before. and he pretty much was the reason MP1 was a FP game. origonalyl it was going to be thrid person.
I hope it fails and drops hard TBH. capcom needs a wake up call. i now this might sound bitter but i think it would be pretty sweet if this failed and they decided to restucture a bit maybe give us legends 3 :) and actaully not piss on their fans as much as they have been doing
agreed entirely sadly. and i get the feeling he isnt saying this out of spite either, its really a damn shame Sony was to stupid to cut the Backwards compatbility off the system . that was one of the most moronic things to do with the system. considering there is obviously a very large number of people buying PSPs right now i think it would have serously helped the system. it would have at least gave early adopters a little more choice.
