@mikemurphy80: You are right. I should have started my statement with "I believe" to indicate it is my opinion. Most of my friends that play COD feel the same way. But, that is not to say that the majority of people agree with me. There was no implication of that in my statement. Since I know others that feel the same way that I do, my statement that "part of the reason" people still play BO2 is accurate.

But, like I said, I think it is a good game and I play it from time to time. It is just not my preference.

Part of the reason people are still playing BO2 is because it doesn't involve special abilities. I have played COD:MW through COD:AW online. But, I haven't played AW nearly as much as any of those previous titles (hours compared to days) because of the abilities. It is a good game and I have fun with it, but I just don't really care for the abilities.

@Hutcheh FFVII is one of my favorite game memories. I did manage to complete it, but it took a tag-team approach with my brother. Otherwise, the 70+ hours of game would have proven insurmountable! :)

He should be fired for his comments. It was a stupid and unprofessional statement on his part, true or untrue. As a gamer and 360 owner, I do not agree with this "always on" thing and I will go elsewhere if this ends up as truth. But, even if he made a similarly scathing comment on another topic, I would feel the same. Stupid move on his part and the company made the right move in dismissing him.

I love both series and I consider them to be different experiences. If I want a more realistic large scale battle that I can really get immersed into, I will play BF. If I want a fast paced, in your face experience, I will play MW. They are both great and but different experiences. I do lean toward the BF experience however since it does allow you to apply a bit of strategy in the multi-player.
