@plaintomato @GreenBlazin @TheGreyArea Sorry not naughty dog. I'll probably get downvotes for this, but u3 wasn't as good as u2 in my opinion. And the more i think about it, the more i've concluded that its really just the stellar work of Team 2. Naughty dog is 2 teams. Team one release u1, which was good, but not great. Team 2 released u2, which blew peoples minds. Then came team 1 with u3, which was good, even an improvement over u1, but not quite the peak that was U2. Then came team 2 with TLOU, which again left peoples jaws on the floor. So while i agree that naughty dog is easily one of the top 3 developers this gen, i think their truely stellar games have come from team 2. And the first Next gen game will be from team one. It will be good, but probably not mindblowing like their second next gen game will be.
@pooya_gojee no, you will probably. See, most of those things are going to appear in the game anyways. Its more like, you guys are paying for this, not some corporate investor. its a little complex how the crowdfunding is working for this. Its not like the other kickstarter projects. if you want, go to the website and read about it. it will make more sense then.
For all you people who don't know how this particular kickstarter worked, Chris created a simple build of the game, then presented it to investers, and told them, hey, we want to create a space sim. We Think there is a demand for it out there, So if we can get, say 2,5 million dollars, that proves the people do want to play this kind of game. And the investers were going to cover the rest. The game is budgeted at something like between 20 and 22 million. However, when the kickstarter ended, the crowdfunding total was at 6 million. And basically they decided that if it continues to grow, they can cut out more and more of the investors funds. If it hits 20 -22 mil, then it will be completely funded by without investor backing. Just wanted you all to know that they aren't suddenly adding features for ever million more they get. Its more like reveals of what will be in the game anyways.
my thoughts...no one cares about desmond and his stupid family storyline. We care about the cool world to explore. And the modern world isn't as cool to explore sorry. There are so many neat societies and civilizations they can still visit. I think AC should basically become like final fantasy was back in the day. the franchise name, but a completely new story and setting ever time, but with similar mechanics that evolve with each game. I think playing as a ninja during the shogunite or the Edo period in japan would be pretty amazing, SO long as they didn't tie in the Templars into it. Exploring a historical Kyoto would be awesome
You know, i usually prefer things xbox over sony, ever since their memory sticks...but microsoft won't be getting my support anymore until they start changing their privacy policies.
still waiting for someone to impliment controlled grenade throwing. let kinect track the trajectory and velocity of your arm. i frigin want to throw grenades behind myself without looking!!!
This is the first video demonstration I've actually seen on Kinect 2. It looks pretty good. I just hope they can implement it well into real gameplay and not just waggle.
And I agree. Ubisoft is one of the few major publishers that continues to create new interesting IPs. Too bad they still haven't done anything with Beyond good and evil 2
im still waiting to see if MS tries to drop the price of the xbone when you contract to live for several years or something like that. I still think they will try to pull of something to match the ps4's price.
