Anyone else expierence this? i just got home, put in my Mortal kombat game and it did an game update, then my xbox was running louder (fan noise, like some humming sound). i played about 45 minutes and ejected the disk and regardless if i was at the main menu doing nothing or fighting; i get a constant humming sound from my xbox. I thentried both crysis 2 and cod BO. no noise issues. Put the MK back in a its back, i hope this doesnt mess up anything. I have the new xbox slim, bought it in march to i know its not my sys because it hasnt been used much, and my other games didnt recreate the same results.

I take really good care of my stuff, my play sessions dont go beyond 4hrs maybe 2-3 days a week. Im confident this is the consoles faulty design, not overuse. Well, ive owned my 360 since sept '07, and it died on me about a week ago(E74), contacted customer support; they said my 3 yr extended warranty expired dec '10. They want to charge 100 dollars to fix, and I'm not gonna pay it.

both GPU's need a 450W PSU or better, and you currently have a 400W PSU in your cart. my advice better to go at least 100W over so aim for around 600W PSU, and i never consider a PSU for a gaming rig unless its priced over 100 bucks (to ensure quality, you get what you pay for), but thats just me.

I know its ok on the watts, but you said therails dont add up, so is the 18A being less than 24A is nothing to worry about? All that matters is the watts?

I have a Corsair HX620W, it says on the chart the Max combined wattage from the 3 rails (12v 18A each) is 600W, but my total power at the bottom says 620W.

I recently bought a nvidia gtx 460 which states it needs a: 450W or greaterPSU with a 12v current rating of 24A.

I have a 620W with 312v rails at 18A each, do these 18A's add up putting me over the 24A req? or are they considered seperate from each other andi am falling just short and need to upgrade?

starcraft2 recently toasted my 8800GT (the menu of death/overheating issue, use "variable txt" file fix), so i bought a nvidia 460 (factory OC). everything has been workin fine for about 5 days but last night while playing my video card freaked out while alot was happening on screen. half the screens textures turned black and other wierd visuals appeared. I restarted my comp and played some more and its been fine since then.

My drivers are up to date, so im thinking it might be my power supply. Its a 620W that ive had for 4+yrs. the GPU boxand website both say a minimum of 450PSU. But Im not a tech expert on PSU-GPU relations. Is this PSU enough to run the 460 even under heavy load? or do i need to bump it up to 800w+? Thanks in advance for any help.

i did review those ratings prior to posting, just wasnt completely comforatable with the brand gigabyte, im so used to seeing sapphire, XFX, EVGA, etc as the top brands for video cards. Ill take a chance a buy it though. thx.

starcraft2 killed my 8800GT so im looking at the 460 on newegg.com, the best 460 ifound (1GB version) is:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125333

Ive never bought a video card from gigabyte before, ive purchased mobo's from them with great results, are their video cards good compared to others?
