I bought half life used, and bought every one since new. The original one didnt sell me in the store. But by chance I got it at a garage sale. I would never have played half life 2 without that first used game sale. So what do I do now? Wait till they are in the bargain rack. I guess they still make a little money, but now I do it with almost every game. Hurts them a lot more than it hurts me.

The audio story from Ilovebees when you listen to it in order was fantastic. Honestly, better than the game halo2. Easily on par with the halo novels. I'd love to hear more.

You are missing the point in long form. It's not about the price, it's the market and methods used to control it. An items value is determined by the market. Manipulation can create unintended consequences. These consequences unfold over years.

It's a great way for someone to take a chance on a series and to create a relationship with the customer. Of course you can always wait for the games to go in the bargain bin. Why buy one game for $50 when you can wait a few months and buy it and 4 more for the same price? If you want to reduce piracy, don't punish the consumer. A game can't be sold used until it's bought new.

I want my game to be as easy and as portable as a paperback book or a dvd movie. Really it's that simple, and it should be that universal.

nV should have held out for more. And WHY can't they do DX10.1? nV has ALWAYS met the current ms-dx standard. Now all of a sudden they release an upgraded chip based on a several year old design. nV is off it's game. The "next-gen" will be a 55nm version of the same with a maybe better clock rate and a for-sure better power curve. I say wait for that, this dog don't hunt.
