[QUOTE="VonGak"][QUOTE="Bunnyslippers"]

I think 3Dtv's with only 1080p would be awesome to play games on. 1440P on projectors would make more sense.

"3-D TV That Actually Works"

"Philips has developed hardware and software that can extract the original depth information from the game engine and use it to create 3-D images on a WOWvx display.

In New York, the company demonstrated the technique with the first-person shooter Call of Duty. It looked almost perfect, except for a little shimmering around the edges of objects, which Philips says will be fixed in the coming months."

Yes, that's the next step we need, but I'll wait getting a 3D TV until I know it follows the standards set so I can be sure that there'll be made content for it. :)

Games will take advantages of the 3Dtv's immediately ( just like with HD).

But you are talking about movies of course. And I am not. I am talking about playing 1080p games on a 1080p 3Dtv.

1440p isn't that much.

Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP

2560x1600 or 1600p

LAWL LAWL LAW!! YOUR WRONG!!
dell ultrasharp 3007 is a pc monitor, and resolutions on that isnt supported by anything but PC graphic cards.
1600 is not 1600p its just how many pixels the computer resolution has. not an actual television screen.

[QUOTE="masterchief2371"]Please sticky this thread asap, by the way you only have 90 days warrenty, after that, I think you'll have to pay a small amount of fees to repaire your xbox 360.bigroy666

Agreed:) sticky,sticky,sticky
90 day warranty is correct to. Small fees is incorrect, they charge you 129.00-250.00 to repair a system after the 90 day warranty, regardless of consumer fault or the system just being faulty....That sucks:(
To me 129.00-250.00 is no small fee.

this guy has a good point. 129 - 250 is not a small fee at all.

what about the stuff you have to buy to match the ps3.
the wireless connection thing which is over 120$ here in canada
the wireless controller which isnt included in the cheaper version, the HDD which is only included in the 400$ version, and finally  to match the ps3 it'd need a high definiton movie player, the hd-dvd drive which is rumoured to be 200 - 500$. so thats
400 + 120 (wireless)+100(hdd)+hd-dvd (200 - 500) = 820 - 1320$$$$

yes canada has the worst prices for extra stuff. the console and the wireless is more than the 500$ ps3.

ps3 is better than the xbox 360 with HD resolutions. the ps3 resolution is the highest possible for any tv right now [ 1080p].
