Mojang means Minecraft. However, that's not the only thing the Microsoft-owned developer tinkers around with. Scrolls was another project: an online card battle game that's accessible on PC, Mac and tablets. The developer announced that the title was ending its life and that it would end development. It doesn't offer up an explanation for the sudden end, but we've reached out to see if there was any particular reason Mojang has claimed a legal victory over Bethesda in being able to name the game "Scrolls" in the first place, but was barred from naming any sequels similarly. Mojang promises to keep the servers up for another year. Jack means you'll have twelve months to finish the most recent update and levels that were released in the month of March.

Update: A Mojang spokesperson stated that the launch of the "Scrolls" beta was hugely successful. Tens of thousands of players fought every day and many remain active to this day. However the game has reached a point where it's no longer able to sustain continuous development."
