@repetitious @grim_agent exactly, I think they put out a scare report like this last gen, this gen will only get more efficient with time. I'm all for people being aware of their power consumption, I just wish reports like these would be put in a proper context.

The PS3 mk1 used 206.9 W when playing, Slim version used 96.24W when playing

xbox 360 mk1 used 170W when playing, Slim version used 90.4 W when playing

The first iterations of the PS4 and Xbox One use less power than there mk 1 predecessors.
