I was bored by the game. After two hours I had driven a guy around some, gotten in a fist fight with a couple of guys (and the controls for the fist fight were terrible) and went on a date with some chick who liked bowling (and why on Earth did I actually play that bowling mini-game, it was incredibly stupid). I was so bored at that point that I could never bring myself to play the game again. On the other hand, I really liked LittleBigPlanet.
Look, there's a lot more to this than meets the eye. Sure, the targets may have been terrorists. In fact, I'm pretty sure the military targeted known terrorists. There's a whole other way of looking at this though. Terrorists originating in the middle east are there because we have been sticking ourselves into their politics for so long. Do you really think that by bombing more of the middle east, this will stop? I mean really, if somebody hates you, are they going to stop hating you because you punch them in the face? No, that's stupid. It just means they continue to hate you and so does everyone else who saw you punch them in the face. I'm not saying this action is morally wrong, I'm saying it's stupid. The US is coming out of this looking like the bully. Everyone hates the bully. If our goal is to stop anti-American sentiment, we should find a way to stop acting like the bully. Otherwise anyone who attacks the US will come across as a hero to most of the world.
