@nurnberg It is actually making a lot of money. It is really one of SOE's big current successes.

Everyone here must be stupid or something. THIS IS SOE!!! Not SONY! SOE is a division of SONY but they are not one and the same. Not PS4. They cut the people working on EV:NEXT and especially DC Universe Online.

They are just changing gears with EV and probably thinking of being done with DC UO.

@highlanderjimd I liked the PVE story. I actually do enjoy WVWVW. But I do agree. At level 80 the game gets very stale quickly. They need to add more.

@Hurvl I play like 3 MMOs lol. I think you are mistaken and correct here. I like MMOs but the reason I play 3 of them is because I get bored with them easily. GW2, PS2, and so far firefall are the exceptions but even they bore me at one point and thus I play a different MMO. This is the same as multiplayer games or singleplayer games. You will be correct once "the one" MMO comes out. I mean an MMO that I truly fall in love with and can't stop playing above all other games. PS2 gets pretty close.

I think fantasy MMOs though are overcrowded. But there is room for other types of MMOs especially shooter ones.

This is pretty much a DLC game from what I am understanding. They give you the first character and everything else is DLC. So they are trying to sell the game in pieces.

This game doesn't allow you to own the game since if their servers disappear so do your characters. Frankly a F2P game sounds more appealing to me.

Has anyone actually played the game? Seems a lot of people complaining (really common on this site) but not one stating if it is good or not.

@olegavi323 I paid to get into Minecraft Alpha. The reason you pay is to help support the game through its development.

@UKFX Minecraft Beta costed the same amount. Nothing new here. This is the Mojang model.
