HDMI to DVI will work for sure, but spending 50$? = rip off. Go to FRY's there only like 15-20 if you dont get brand name and picture quality is the exact same.

No way will Sony be another Sega and PS3 is certanly not another Dreamcast lol. The reason why PS3 is so expensive is because sony spent so much money on R&D for designing all new hardware. Also in comparison to The Xbox that is way cheaper because it lacks so many standard PS3 features like built in wifi adapter, Blue Ray player, and not having to pay monthly for online play. And most people don't even know the PS3 ability to use a PSP as a remote logon device to stream all your PS3 movies, music, and even select Downloadable games off the PSN store. Actually Sony looses money from every PS3 console sold due to the high R&D price, but they should make enough money off of video game titles and the PSN store to balance out most of the cost in the long run.

PS3 actually is a "Next-Gen" system. And Sony will stil be around in the next gen too.

KZ2 for sure. Amazing graphics. The rag-doll effects are wicked too. The maps are way better than R2's and the leveling up is way addicting.

Ok, So I may sound like a broken record as I am sure i'm not the only one who noticed this. It seems that the OS world and the billions of dollars that Microsoft already has is just not quite enough. They appear to be Monopolizing the video game industry now as well. Dont get me wrong I understand that money makes the world go round. Now a major reason that people will buy a system is for the exclusive game titles. Xbox for example with Halo, Gears of War, and Mass Effect. PS3 with games like Metal Gear Solid4, Little Big Planet and Killzone 2. The fact that there are many games that come out which are multi-platform for both XBOX and PS3 owners. Each new copy of the game costs the same 60.00$+tax for both Xbox and PS3. A few examples of games that are out now would be GTA4, Fallout 3, and Tomb Raider. If we each pay 60$ for the original price of a game DLC should available. I would gladly pay 10-15$ for DLC for the games that I own (GTA4 and Fallout 3) and love. GTA4: "Last Friday, Microsoft triumphantly announced that Grant Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned had "eclipsed first-day revenue for all previous downloadable content on Xbox Live." The software giant also played up the fact that the Xbox 360-exclusive expansion--the first of two due this year--was the "highest-reviewed downloadable content ever from Rockstar Games." FALLOUT 3: "Unfortunately, there is no DLC in sight for those who bought the less well reviewed PlayStation 3 version of Fallout 3. Speaking with MTV last week, producer Todd Howard said there are "no plans" to extend the Sony console edition beyond its current form. And like pre-Broken Steel 360 and PC siblings, the PS3 Fallout 3 will not be playable after the main quest is finished. Howard did not say if Bethesda's deal with Microsoft--the financial details of which remain undisclosed--will prevent the DLC from being released on the PS3 via a non-downloadable route, such as a Game of the Year edition a la Oblivion." Tomb Raider: Theft Auto IV and Fallout 3 won't be the only cross-platform games to see exclusive downloadable content on the Xbox 360. Microsoft and Eidos announced today that Xbox 360 owners will be able to download two additional single-player chapters for Tomb Raider: Underworld that will add approximately six hours of content. The first chapter, titled Beneath the Ashes, will arrive on XBL Marketplace around the Christmas holiday, with Lara's Shadow slated to follow in the first part of 2009. Resident evil 5: Not really DLC, but another example. Microsoft exclusive Red XBOX http://residentevilnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/resident-evil-xbox-360.jpg This is a disturbing trend to only get worse before it gets better. Who knows where the video game industry will be soon, but It seems we could be forced into owning a sytem just to get DLC...
