I don't think you understand the way the systems are built. Their performance will be almost identical when they are released. You must be careful of reading a couple of numbers from the specs.

I'm supporting the American company that contributes millions to education and technology development in the U.S. You can call me closed-minded. I'll go with patriotic. I realize both systems will be powerful and there will be some exclusives I miss by not going with Sony. In today's world economy, where do you want your money going?

@abnergoinbig @glassman67 I'm not even suggesting there would be a sale. I'm saying that's a crucial day for the system to be available for sale. Sony has reached their projected shipping dates in the past so let's hope they make the date this year.

I think Hyrb's point is that Sony made a major announcement, but the lack of a system to show might be an indicator that the PS4 won't be available by Black Friday. It's late February and you're making a big play. You've got 9 months to get systems shipped.
