The train was terribly slow and tedious to navigate with. I don't know which game designer thought it was a good idea for a game that has traditionally had open-ended overworlds to restrict you to silly train tracks. The dungeons were all pretty good, albeit a little bit on the easy side.

Peace Walker has far more replayability IMO.

Hm, actually, that's kinda weird. I just managed to "fix" the DSes mic by kinda "sucking" in the air at the mic part. It only works until I turn it off, but I can do it over and over again to attempt to fix it, lol. Weird as HELL.

Are these boss battles frequent? I have another DS, but the hinge is broken and it doesn't go into sleep mode; so I can still use that DS to get past those points in the game.

I think you do need it for when you're playing as Bowser.

Ah, I see. That blows, but thanks for the answer anyways.

My microphone is actually broken (not sure how it broke, but it's been preventing me from playing games like Spirit Tracks and... Nintendogs I guess?), but recently I bought a game, the game being Bowser's Inside Story, but in-game, I noticed an option on the menu called mic test. Is a microphone required to beat the game (like in Spirit Tracks), or is it just used for some unnecessary special attack or something?

EDIT: Making it easier to read since I copy/pasted this from somewhere else.

I'm liking the style of travelling better than FES, actually. Speeds things up a lot, and travelling was always tedious. Of course the graphics on the PS2 were better, though. The PS2 is the more powerful system.
