Attack and Defend is pretty fun in Calypso Casino. If you just want to rank up quickly then play co-op terrorist hunt in LVU and you'll get points in no time. Killhouse and Streets are very enjoyable as well.

I think you people don't get the argument here.

I was trying to say is that I don't have a ton of cash so I usually buy the top of the line games. Sorry but I won't drop 60 bucks for a lame movie tie in like Spiderman or half made game like Shadowrun. My is that I buy games that are absolutely worth owning. If you can afford mediocre games like Crackdown then more power to you but I am a cheap MF so I like to get more bang for the buck.

Also you people stop with the whole "you are missing out on games". I never said I don't play game, it's just that RENT every game before buying anything.

Did you guys even read what I said?

QUOTE: "Also I don't really make my decisions entirely on what score game gets from reviewer but most often the really AAA reviews are the best ones to purchase especially since now games cost 60 bucks. My policy is rent and then buy."

I never said gamespot was god and I took their word for. No I usually check out the games myself ie RENT & BUY.

However I always check what the average score for a game is on gamerankings.com before I buy.

Look all I saying is that is a game is rated 9 or higher by 10 different websites and magazine then most often that game turns out to be good.

I don't buy into hype PERIOD.

But I make informative decisions and rent all games before I buy.

1) Fix the freaking match join and invite thing cause too often I play RS: Vegas or GeOW and invite friends but they can't join even with several empty slots and then I have to reset the game and start over.

2) Allow you to visit the dashboard while the game is paused. Sometimes I want to check stuff while I'm in-game without wanting to resart the whole game again.

3) Dashboard and blade should remember previous positions. For example I want to check out a demo and when press back it should take me back to the alphabetical order I was originally looking at.

4) Fix the blade: 10 different blades for the same thing like Marketplace allows demo to be downloaded but you have to go to the green blade to actually play it. Arrange blades by similar function. Maybe use a tabbed nterface while inside marketplace to arrange in a neat and visually pleaseant manner without going through a dozen different screens to purchase a movie or map pack.

5) More information DLC. Example post a nice gallery of the maps or new content where I can see stuff before buying. trust me more people would buy extra stuff if only they could properly see the stuff before dropping some cash.

That's it for now my hands are tired and I can keep going on and on for 20 pages but I will keep that for some other time.

Am I the only one in here who buys games rated 9.0 or higher?

I bought a 360 last November and since then I have bought GEoW, Oblivion, RS: Vegas and now recently I bought Forza 2. Now this is the 1st time I bought a Microsoft console so I don't know what to expect because last generation I purchased a PS2. I really like the 360 but in my opinion there is lack of high quality games on the system. Example the PS2 had some truly great games one year into it's release like GTA III, MGS2, Final Fantasy, Jak and Daxter, Grand Turismo 3 andf such. All those games were exclusive to the PS2 at the time however only GEoW and Forza 2 are 360 only. Oblivion, RS: Vegas and GRAW are all multiplatform games. Sorry but I don't buy average games like Crackdown, Lost planet and such. Also I don't really make my decisions entirely on what score game gets from reviewer but most often the really AAA reviews are the best ones to purchase especially since now games cost 60 bucks. My policy is rent and then buy.

Anyway I'm not trying to start a system war but I just feel I paid too much for only 2 AAA exclusive in 18 months.

I know fanboys will bring up Halo 3 so ok now 3 AAA exclusive in 2 years.

Grand Theft IV is multiplatform so it doesn't count.

Also I don't know what to expect from games like Mass Effect, Too Human and Bioshock so I will hold judgement on them.

I just want some serious discussion without fanboyism on this topic because I feel disappointed when I got more for my money last generation. Again this doesn't have anything to do with the PS3 so don't bring it up.

My friend was part of the beta and I've had a few rounds with the game at his house.

The gameplay is more heavy on the air combat side. The ground troops are decent but nothing that makes you want to stick on foot for long feels somewhat empty and less polished. Once you hop on the jet then things get really fun especially when you have mutiple targets in a dogfight and missiles flying all over the place. The hover mode is also excellent which allows you to hit surface targets and mow down peds with ease. Overall very good game but I think it will suffer from being online only and receive lesser reviews especially from gamespot.

This rant by Nintendo makes me laugh and of all people they should know what boasting too much can do. Wii deserves the limelight right now because it is different and original than the competetion. However one little machine is not going to change how games are made. This success will probably continue well into next year but at some point the sales will. The reason is simple Wii is built and tailored specifically towards casual gamers on those people who have never played a single video game in there life. What Nintendo does not realize at this point in time is that casual gamers do not yield high attach rate percentage. That is why the Wii will sell a of bunch of hardware but they will lack in software sales. It is the hardcore gamer that buys 15-20 games over the lifetime of a game console and generate extra revenue. That is why they had to include the Wiisports package along the original game. People are buying this as a stand-alone entertainment system and will rarely go out and purchase a game for it. For example I purchased one for my sisters to play with and they only have like 2 games Zelda and Paper Mario but in same time span since I purchased a 360 back in November I have bought about 10 360 games and 3 more PS3 games. Now my income level is similar to my sister's and we both have same type of disposable cash but I end up speding a fortune on my 2 systems not to mention all the accessories like wireless headset, rechage battery kit, face plates, BD movies. Now my household has all 3 systems yet I have spend 20 times more money on my systems than my sister. I know the female example may not be that good but that is the audience Nintendo is really trying to lure. In the end hardcore gamers still rule the industry and I don't see a change any time soon.

I don't know which 6 AAA are you talking about?

All I see is 3 AAA in the 360 lineup GEoW, RS: Vegas and Oblivion.

Borderline AAA: Forza 2 GRAW C&C Tiberium Wars

Average: Lost Planet, Crackdown, Deadrising, Saint's Row

Mediocre: PDZ, Earth Defense Force 2017.

[QUOTE="black_awpN1"]Is Sony in trouble guys?
TekkenMaster606

What's that? The PSP and Playstation 2 sold more units than the Xbox 360?

Let's selectively divide up Sony Computer Entertainment and forget the fact they have 2 other machines doing very well. As a whole, Sony sold 459,000 machines.

Let's keep dividing them up though! It's fun! And it sways arguments to favor one side!

Exactly the joke is on M$ whose original console is collecting dust sitting on people's shelves while the PS2 is still selling strong and making profits from its still alive library. People don't see it but PS2 is just milking it right now and has already paid for it's own develpment costs and now taking the load off the PS3's cost. Can you say the same about the Xbox? Which to this day has not made a single profit for the company from hardware department.

It would be gladiator arena style. Remeber that footage from E3 where the girl was inside a miniature arena and fighting all these guys the boss would keep throwing at her. Maybe in the MP you can play like 16 players going at it with different matchtypes like

Battle royal deatchmatch

Team co-op vs versus 14 other players

Elimination match (you lose next guy takes your place)

Escape the arena (first one to chug up the wall wins and is fed to the lions)

This does sound alot like a wrestling game but it could be made good with weapons like swords, nunchucks, katana etc...
