I wrote it long enough ago that I can safely say that is was crap. Do not worry. :P

I'm a huge sucker for storyteling. That's why I liked Cloverfield, despite the fact that nothing really "happens" in the entire movie. But the first person camera angles made it for me. Same with Half-Life 2. It "put you into" the thing better than any other media I've seen yet. I like to call it the "actor without any lines" ploy, where the viewer of the media is, as said, the actor without any lines.

The first game has some great plot twists, I think, anyway. It's beyond anything anyone's ever seen a video game do, and the writing is fantastic. The last hour, especially, is filled with all kinds of great scenes.

The episodes get better, as well. Especially the second one. The end of the second one made pretty much anybody playing crap their pants.

To clarify:

If you've read any of my reviews, you know I like to do some odder things, too. I'd rather talking about anything that really is worth mentioning, and not just section off the bugger. I completely understand.

I also liked your ideas. The material you had in there was, frankly, well beyond what an average review has. The whole "you gotta tell facts" nonsense that reviewers are expected to do is, well, nonsense. I liked how you ran through a good portionof the game like a walkthrough.

I didn't like the endless informality. It sounded like a sixth graders essay at times because of that. "And now I will review the game" kind of stuff kind of turns me off. But, again, that might be personal taste.
