@aross2004: You are not lying about pricing back in the day. I was able to get a system at Christmas. But, the majority of game playing was renting games from the local video store on the weekends and during the summer.

I do believe that releasing too many games at one time can be overwhelming, take this into consideration. If you release Halo Infinite and then release Need For Speed, I will play Halo Infinite. But, I will never touch Need For Speed. I do not play racing games, I just don;t like them. But, my buddy plays nothing but racing games. So, not all 8 games will be played by the same player. Just make sure you have a nice selection of different genres at launch so when Halo Infinite gets beat and multi player becomes stagnant, we still have something else to go to.

Langrisser has that Fire Emblem look and feel to it. Looks like that is my pick for this week.

This is just a mockery of a great film horror series. This will be garbage.

Journey To A Savage Planet is my buy this week. I already pre ordered Warcraft 3 months ago. Journey looks like a mix of No Mans Sky and The Outer Worlds. Can't wait to try it out.

The absolute only reason I have played this game was because of my autistic brother in law. We play together and have gone through the story line campaigns and beat them. I just find the world of Destiny so bland and not well thought out by the developers. All areas look the same and it is the same old enemies from area to area. The story is not even that appealing.

Can't wait to get my hands on the XBOX Series X. In the meantime, my XBOX One with Game Pass will do just fine. PS5 will surely release more movies for everyone to watch like they did with the PS4.

They need to get with the program and give people a deal on trade ins and new games. I just bought Madden 20 Superstar Edition off of Ebay, brand new, never been used, still sealed for exactly half of what Gamestop wants right now. If you wait till the holidays or keep watch over random times throughout the year, digital games can be bought for any console or PC for super cheap all year long. I realize that Gamestop has to pay employees and bills to open the doors each day. But, they rely on the warranties, Pro memberships and other non gaming related items to stay afloat. I find that over half of the store is dedicated to clothing, collectibles, toys and other mindless stuff. Of course, January has been a super slow month for new games and that does not help. But, digital downloads are so convenient and the majority of games are digital download the minute you buy them and pop the disc in. Only autistic nerds, like my brother in law, pitch a fit about the fact that they have to download so much after buying a physical copy. Even then, there are some people you will never please.
