no save points, no reloading and no completion reward. But we still get cheat codes :)

And the only games that life is like is probly is sims

And, if you want to answer the question, watch Monty Pythons Meaning of Life. all the answers are in there

[QUOTE="Samwel_X"]There are games within life, but life itself is not a game.Forerunner-117

I disagree. It's a game, there are rules you must follow, you can be a winner (or in some people's cases, a loser).

I think of it more as an RPG where you can get better at something the more you do it.

I agree. That RPG analogy is actually pretty good. :P

To be honest, I actually woke up this morning at like 9:30, then fell back to sleep, then woke up again at 10:30, realized that I had wasted an hour of my day, and frantically looked for the F9 (Quick load) button. No joke. :( The weird thing is that I was actually surprised when I couldn't find one. :P

the F9 thing is sad

A Raiden game would be cool. Raidens life BEFORE MGS2 and POST MGS2.

A game based around The Boss would be PURE AWESOME

And Remakes of the original MG would be cool

But otherwise, make a completely diffeerent story, but it could have a link to MGS4, otherwise, i don't know what kind of story there could be

[QUOTE="CruxisXIII"]

To those that have beaten it or are just reading this thread for the hell of it; the ending really focused on how people waste their lives fighting (at least that is how I viewed it). After watching that ending and reflecting on it; I see it in today's world. People fighting with their family members, fighting with potential friends, just wasting their life in constant fighting... Kind of shows you that life shouldn't be wasted fighting...

Has any piece of entertainment changed your outlook on life?

MGO_BlueMstr

I agree Cruxis. People do fight in this world and it is a waste in my opinion. But I don't think it will stop anytime soon, maybe one day in the future, long from now. I think MGS4 did change my outlook on life. The story and parts of the story taught me many things actually and reminded me of things I already knew and I felt bad for it. I think all games with great stories like mgs4 will always teach you something or remind you of things that have happened in our world and things that have happened now. It's kind of hard to narrow down exactly what I had learned by playing mgs4 because there is just so much. As Snake grows old it reminds us that the MGS series has been going on for a long time now, if we just went on with our lives without MGS series as if it never existed, I absolutely 100% know that we would not be the same people we are now, that's one reason I think MGS4 is such a Masterpiece. MGS4, I will never forget it. This game will go on in memories of people who loved it for years and years. The biggest change it had on me was the way I view the future. I think people might see this game as something to come and may teach people that it's now much different from our time now and that everything in this game can be true and can happen in the future. Maybe this game will help people not make as much mistakes in life by looking at all the evil things that are in this game and correcting it for the future. This Masterpiece is a true piece of art and changes the view of gaming to a whole new level. Thank Hideo Kojima, A LEGEND as Snake was....as Snake "is".

Well done. You have won the thread

the MGS series has the greatest video game storyline........ever.

On topic: MGS4 proves war is basically a form of procrastination and yes, it is 2008, so Shadow Moses happened 4 years ago, the Tanker incident happened last year and the big shell happens next year.

New Yorker beware of arsenal gear!!!!

same thing happened to me. but it's a third-party game and it's up to the developers if they want you to be able to play in game music.

Try in-game music with resistance FoM or assassins creed or something like that. i think all first party games will have in-game music
