@GuillermoX @k3ck Does over 500+ hrs in each game suffice? Lol is theoretically completely free to play but lets face neither you or me have all the "champions" nor are we anywhere near that, trying out a new champion involves either saving up about 20 games or paying cash. From that stand point alone DotA offers a better F2P model.
Down to the actual game: You don't like dota's HUD? You can change it. 99% of games at least one other players offers a different HUD.
It comes down to the mechanics in the end, DotA punishes bad plays a lot more that LoL, as a result many players become fustrated and abandon hopes of mastering the game, for the same reason those who stick with it will eventually feel more accomplished by beeing able to control and understand every little trick in the game.
Also DotA has a more active early game with more aggressive behaviors and gonks.
In the end I believe DotA is the better game if you stick with but it does take some time to get better and like all MOBA communities it's not a pleasant one most of the time but there are exceptions.
maverick_76 that is not a solution for a PC plus the original SecoROM did just that, Diablo 2, BF2 they all need the disc in drive for you to play, it can be circumvented easily just like it's been done b4. ppl make piracy 2 big an issue, are you guys blind? DRM is comercialism at it's worst. Having a pirate copy means you can't play online (key checks). CD-Key is THE best DRM and i find it perfectly reasonable, so is online activation, all these sto piracy, but Installation limits, DRM not being able to completely remove the software, and safety issues DO NOT.
What bothers me so much about the DRM Issue is this perfect quote from 2k: “One user has purchased the game. Not the whole family. So why should your brother play for free?” Well let's see: If a piece of software is a product just like the computer, or TV or even a piece of silverware, why shouldn't my brother play for free? I bought it There for I own it, It's only in digital entertainment that this seems odd. Why is it any different? are the people working for 2k or EA any diffrent that those worcking for Intel, or hell even Audi. If I bought it I OWN IT, which means i can do with it as I want including letting my brother, sister, friend play. For obvious reasons not as the same time as this would be equal to distribution to which i DO NOT have the right, much like if I could it would be illegal to make and give copies of my Intel CPU to my friends. Thats why DRM is so bad, because for some reason the industry has become full of it's self and money hungry. if I bought it I should be allowed to do what I want with that copy. DRM should ensure ONLY that the computer is running a original copy and NOT that it hasn't been used before. It's like saying: Ok you can buy this mug but only you and 3 other people can use it, now you tell me would that be fair?

with the exception of the Iakri non of these mice are extremely overpriced and look just plain awful. I have an MX518 and the 1800 DPI is more than enough actually it 90% of the time on 1200 DPI anyway. my friend has a G5 and it really is cool and the best thing NO BRIGHT LIGHTS together with a good pad (steelseries QcK+/mini) both me and my friend have a great expirience every time we play any game and its a lot cheaper than any mouse here and just as good if not even better.
can some1 giv me a thread on any GF9 series!!! All I can find (other than kid dreams) is the G92 chip which is for the GF 8 series and Nvidia has nothing on a GF9 series so any OFFICIAL thread are welcome.
