@lord2fli: Mmm I don't think he's inputing commands before the NPC, he just knows her skillset and doesn't risk more than he has to, which is the downfall of 99% of the players. He attacks only after 2 or 3 specific moves that gives you a couple of seconds before she can act again (most noticeable that one where she stays on the ground for like 2 seconds and then do an upward jumping slash)

80% of that fight is patience, the other 20% is dodging Waterfowl dance, which he correctly runs and dodges towards her instead of away from her as it would be most people, myself included, first instinct.

IMO the real skill is doing this without taking any hits. Eventually when you dodge and hit, dodge and hit you reach a point where you think "hey, I'm doing good, perhaps I could risk a bit more and get a hit between her other moves to speed this up?" and that's when everything goes FUBAR, specially in this fight where she has lifesteal.

Half of this list is related to Elden Ring just because they're open world games, and the game that, by far, resembles the most in terms of playability, quest / level design and so on outside of FromSoftware isn't here. Please add Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Unless Dr. Strange does something really shitty in this movie, what he did and what Wanda did aren't even on the same playing field. She knowingly and willingly took hostage of an entire town and their inhabitants lives to play house with a witchcrafted Vision. Whatever Dr. Strange did up to this point was to help other people out, never for selfish gain.

So yeah, it's not 'fair' because what she did was way worse.

Gamers are not SJW, so please have someone that actually likes to play games review them. Also, I get the idea of having controversial review and "There is no such thing as bad advertising" or however that one goes for the views and whatnot, but the stunt would be more effective if you didn't also release a video with Lucy, Jake and herself where she clearly states that she barely played the game at all, skipping most of the side content.

Stop with the DnD This-is-not-BG posing, you're probably going to pre-order the game anyways.

Just wondering: why people hate TLJ? I don't remember some bits of the movie, but people talk like it's the scourge. Besides the whole "Rose" and related business, I liked the Rey - Luke interaction, the "Imma blow your shit out of space" (sans the "I believe I can fly" moment from Leia) and the final confrontation. There was room from improvement, yeah, but checking reviews on how bad "Rise" is, I'm surprised that TLJ was thrown into the mix.

I've played it some time, and it's not really an easy game to like.

-The voice acting was bad. No, I don't care that it was made that way to please fans from the older titles.

- The pacing of the game was bad. It took ages for the characters to reach simple conclusions, like figuring out at the begining of the game that the thugs were after stonemasons I mean it was unnerving how silly that stuff was.

-The drawer inspection minigame...

- The training minigames to raise your kung fu. Grows old quite quickly, and you don't get exp by figthing, which would make more sense anyways.

The only good things about the game were the soundtrack and the fighting gameplay, and that's it.

@davidwildgoose: Hello David.

That's exactly what I mean. Let's take a favourite game of mine, Breath of Fire 3 for PSX. I'm no wordsmith, but let's say that somehow I manage to write a "10 worthy" review for it, emphasizing the story, graphics, soundtrack, gameplay, etc. I do know it's not a 10 (even though a favourite of mine), it's a solid 8.5-ish in my opinion, but for the sake of argument, let's say I write it so it seems a 10.

Once I have that submitted, the discussion going forward will be based on the premise that the game is a 10 and no-one will challenge me that. As I understand from what you said, the evaluation and feedback is based only on the article, not the score of the game itself. When you say "...but they believed in my review and we collaborated until the text of the review supported the score we felt the game warranted." , why did they feel the game was a 10? Did they actually play the game the same amount of time as you and said "Wow, this is truly a 10" or they reviewed your article and said "Wow, this article sure makes me feel the game is a 10"?.

Asking you to elaborate on parts of your article is not at all like saying "Hey, convince me this is a 10, that this is essential." I understand you can't just write two lines, slap a 10 at a review and call it a day, but the opposite isn't true either: You can't just write a shakespearean review and asume that the quality of the text will justify the score of the game.

I'm not saying that you were in any way biased to write a 10, if this is a 10 for you, I believe that. But seeing that 10s arround here are quite a big deal, I'm only suggesting that more than one person play such games and agree that this must be a 10 before the editoring work.

Thanks.

@mogan: So you're suggesting people to leave Gamespot and go to other sites for a better aggregated review score?

@Renunciation: I'm not saying to have second, third or whatever amount of reviewers in all the games, but at the very least I feel 10/10 is kind of a big deal which warrants more than just one opinion to reach that score.
