At least concerning PCs, it used to be that you wanted a hard copy of the game because you could resell it once you finished. These days the companies make it so you basically can't resell your computer games. So as far as I'm concerned, I'll certainly be downloading more games if this trend continues.
hmmmm.... 200 bucks for a 360 or 2,000 bucks for a high end PC. Less jaggies with the PC. Oh, such tough decisions! On a personal note, if it wasn't for Blizzard, I'd prolly would be playing just about everything on a console right now.
I tried running this game on a rig with an athlon xp 3200 cpu, 2 gigs of ram and a 2600 XT video card. The performance was pretty bad to say the least I'm gonna upgrade to a cheap dual core cpu (athlon 3800 x2) and hope that makes it playable on low rez.
nice to see AO is still kicking. It was my first MMO and most of my best MMO memories are from there. I loved the tower wars and being an enforcer wielding the overpowered enchanted queen blade. I doubt I could go back now, though. It wouldn't be the same.
