What actually do developers spend it on? They have computers to do most of the stuff. Some of the stuff they need people for (motion stuff) and music. Whats the deal with some like 30+ million dollar game.
I personally love shooting games but theres a point were it get repetitive sometimes. The point when almost all the big hyped games are shooters. Lets see Killzone 2, Gears 1/2, Resistance 1/2, Haze, Uncharted,Bioshock, Resident Evil 5, Halo 3, etc. Those are mainly the ones that i hear that are hyped up but I know that there are other hyped games that are not shooters to. But you have to admit that its a console war with shooters leading the pack. I for one would like to see some more variety (then what is out there).
The console war at the moment has had many twist and turns such as the PS3 losing lots of ground, exclusives and etc and then ganing some now (imo). And the Wii selling a lot now but some people are getting tired of it (at least i am now). The Xbox 360 and its infamous "rrod" problems and gaining more exclusive. There have been lost of twist and turns in this war. I think Sony is really starting to "wake up". I think that a lot has changed and that it could be anyones game. Who do you think will come out on top? And could you peopel try not to flame (even though it will happen) and give honest answers?
My uninformed friends said that there will never be a PSP2 because it will be the same thing. And there is ntohing that can be imporved but graphics and the design is "perfect". I think that they are dead wrong.
I am intrested in repurchasing a PSP and getting the Slim version. My question is is it worth the money? How different is the Portable Ops version from the Ops Plus? WHich one should i get? And what how different is it from the console version fo the games? Keep in mind that i want a real opion and please dont just say yes because this is a PSP froum because im buying it not my "mommy and daddy".
If any of you have been a long time customer of Gamestop you probably have noticed that when you buy a NEW game for FULL PRICE they will give you a DISPLAY COPY that is OPENED and USED? Gamestop charged me FULL PRICE for an off the shelf copy. I thne tried to return it and they said no because IT WAS NEW. That is one of the most stupid things ever. Has this happened to anyone? Gamestop selling you a used copy for the price of a new one and then saying you can't return it because its new?
But think, will everyone really want to remake their all their applications for another OS. All their games and things. Think tons of things run on Windows. It would take along time and would take maybe lots of money to move Windows to OS whatever.
Microsoft is really big and many people use or depend on their products. I know some of you will say that there were and are so many giants that fall. But i doubt they were on Microsofts scale. Peoples computers and servers use their products. If they do fall into trouble i think they can always get a loan or somebody will help or buy them out.
