Midnight pretty much nailed it. I'm in the also in the beta and I agree with most of what was said. Any game that lets me make my own professional looking track in under an hour is pure win in my book. :)

No. All HDMI cables do the same thing regardless of if they're $5, $50, or $500. All the gold-plated, hyper wired, g-diffused mumbo-jumbo is all a big marketing scam to entice your average technically-challenged consumer.

I don't think so, personally. I'm playing the beta and I feel like the handling of the karts isn't up to par with Mario Kart. They're not bad, just not great.

I'm loving it so far. Trying my hand at building a track later on tonight. :D

If I recall correctly, enemies also level up with you, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of leveling up...

I'm a huge Treasure fan (they developed the game if you didn't know), and Light Crusader is one of the few games of theirs I never really got into for some reason. I'm sure I'd love it if I played it today.

I am a little bit disappointed by DSiWare, but I always remember it took a while for the VC and WiiWare to find their groove. It'll get better with time.

I think most of the praise for Final Fantasy soundtracks comes from diehard Nobuo Uematsu fans. FFX had three composers with distinctly different styles, so that may have something to do why it's underrated. I loved it personally, mainly because I love Masashi Hamauzu. Uematsu's compositions are a little too hit and miss for me.
