8/10 nice sig, but do you want to add a border? It could use one (maybe 1-3 px). The render is kind of plain, but clear enough. The BG is very boring and could use some brush strokes (with a flame brush). Either that or overlay a c4d with a fiery type color/pattern

I can't recommend the Shadow Hearts series enough, especially Shadow Hearts 2. It was created by a group that splintered off of the the Squaresoft development team. Another great game is Suikoden 3 by Konami

As for good old ff type games... there are the star ocean games.. grandia.. things like that.. but they all have active battle systems.. valkyrie profile isn't an active battle, but it's still pretty different. We've been discussing recently how good odin sphere is though I haven't played it yet. I'm sure you could find many other suggestions from people here..!!

Hmm...good old FF games? I really suggest you pick up Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy VI! (Either SNES or GBA versions). Those are fantastic! If you haven't played Chrono Cross, you should try that too! Especially if you're playing Chrono Trigger right now.
