@Silv3rSt0rm82 not true. We are fed up with good ideas but problem nowadays is that games are easy to produce and it's easy to fool people when no demos are put out before games launch. In the good old days you played a demo and knew what you were getting with full game. Nowadays you are being sold a cat in the sack since you can only judge the game on it's trailers. Also stories and game mechanics have been dumbed down to satisfy the widest circle of audience possible.
Thief needed a better graphics and a superb story. Nothing more. Trying to make it next gen is what fails. This game should be hard and you should spend time in the shadows counting seconds until the time is right and you can move to avoid being seen.
@Aleksanian Stick of truth cannot fail. It's southpark. If it has sarcastic and toilet humor and makes fun of everything it's a win. And all of that it has. I will get it no matter what Gamespot says!
@DesertEaglex24 lol you really are stupid. Why does it bother you so much if there are more options? If you like to play 1st person you can, and if i like to play 3rd person i can to. I really can't understand your stupid logic.
@tomkat69pc i agree. It's just a lame excuse for lazy. Damn it's easy... make a game in 1st person than just add a 3rd person camera. More choice more players. They would probably attract huge portion of players that like AC or Splinter cell. Splinter was always 3rd and it was awesome in every way. I'll not buy this forced gameplay.
I don't get it why devs that only include 1st person always say it's because of immersion ? I would be just as immersed if there was a 3rd person option. It's an option. Why force players .... I very rarely play 1st person and so i'll pass on this sadly.
@gamemaven 250$ a year good? i don't think so. There is not a game in this world worth that much money. I'd rather pay 250$ up front and than have all the content unlocked forever on, than constantly paying 15$. Plus you're loosing money when you sleep and work and have an actual life. You're even loosing money if all you do is play, you still have to sleep eat and sh*t. NOT GONNA HAPPEN
@Fartman7998 Firstly mmos make huge profits on those subscriptions. It's not there to sustain the game it's there to make huge profits. Wow makes like 50 million $ A MONTH. Surely you are not so stupid to believe that all that money goes to the employees and server costs? No! Most of that money, probably like 90% go into the pockets of CEOs and owners. So it's understandable people won't pay for that. If you come to think of it the game would do just as fine if the sub was 1/3 of what it is now. It would still generate enough money to sustain the game and earn money for greedy owners. On top it would generate more than roughly 1/3, because more people would be happy to pay less. And let's not forget if you pay 15$ a month you only get 1/3 of it out at most if you are a normal person who sleeps 8 hours and works 8 hours. This kind of ''rent a game or you can't play'' is greedy and people generally see it for what it is more and more nowadays.
