I am currently planning on getting Vampire: The Masqurade - Bloodlines, Dark Messiah: Might and Magic, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Are there any other action RPGs that are good? How is Gothic 3?

Okay, then I'll play XII like it's its own game. Now what do people think about DoC, should I stick with just renting it?

Also, I might change my mind. DoC seems to be short, like beat in a rental period short. So I'll just rent it, but still would FFXII be able to live up to what the Final Fantasy series has been known for?

Well, yeah. Like I said, I should try it. How long did it take your friend to beat the game? I don't want to overwhelm myself with games this fall, because there will be a lot of good ones. So I just want to get the ones that are absolutely worth it, and I found the demo to be a little different.

But the gameplay will still be the same regardless, right? Unless they change the battle system completely. It will still be like Knights of the Old Republic. I might still get the game, but I'm just wondering from someone's point of view. Someone who has played both demos, what was better?

I am pretty sure I will get Dirge of Cerberus, but XII is hard to make a decision over. The gameplay is slow and boring, kind of reminds me of Knights of the Old Republic. The story is a cliche'. And the characters are not as cool as characters from the previous series. Of course, this is my honest opinion. I'm sorry to say, but Final Fantasy has gone dowhill since FFVII, but FFIX was good. So I'm unsure about this next game. Famitsu gave it a perfect score, and everybody is excited about that, but Famitsu has screwed me over more than enough times, so I'm not listening to them. I hear everybody is saying this game will be the best out there this fall, but with the following downsides that I have stated before, how can anybody be sure. I just want to ask for some peoples' opinions on this game, and what I should do.

I got it and I find that it's much better than the first. They improved on every aspect that made the first one great. A true candidate for Game of the Year, I'd say. If anyone is unsure of what RPG to get as of recently, I would pick this over any of the "Tales of" or "Suikoden" games. The one thing I didn't like about the first Kingdom Hearts was the tedious Gummi battles. Now the battles are fast paced and fun to replay for the hell of it. I was so happy once I got the transporting gummi piece from Cid in the first one. Now I go back and play battles to collect all the treasure. It's truly wonderful. I may sound like a fanboy saying this but, 10/10. It's that great.
