IMO these companies should sell the games cheaper from the get go or offer more from the games then the standard 4-5 hours of play. Certain games I will buy new, and others I buy used or GOTY editions. Blocking used games will only reduce the consumers for the next gen consoles. If they want to get rid of 2nd hand sales then the companies need to move to downloadable games only.

EA is a horrible company and the $10 charge is BS. I buy more new games from the company to justify purchasing 1 used title from them. This is all greed from the publishers. If the 2nd hand market goes out of business then stores like gamespot will go out. Then those who work there will be out of a job.

Simple solution is never give Sony your credit card. If you gave them a credit card cancel it. Bottom line never trust sony with anything ever again. Don't give them a CC, if you want a game online go to walmart, or gamespot and buy a PSN card with cash.

@fiskefyren: The reason why the 15-inch macbook pro isn't on the list is because its not a netbook. I could pick a ton of 15 inch notebook's that trump the netbooks because they are suppose to. That is like saying my Jeep is a better vehicle to drive through mud than my neighbors Geo Metro. Besides the point, Apple is over rated. For what you pay for it, go buy 2 comparable PC notebooks and install linux. Then you can be a thrifty shopper and still have that feeling that you are running a different operating system.

The only pro to either of the console is their price. If you factor in that a PC is multifuction and you need one anyway, it probably makes more sense to invest in that. The real question is will the pc hardware last as long as the consoles (about 5 yr on average)?
