Just to start off, he lied to the nation and even Colon Powell invaded Iraq under false pretenses and there's internal emails showing he was planning this before 9/11. The Patriot Act is the largest assault on civil liberties since the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1789, and would have the founding fathers rolling over in their graves. The US economy is going into a depression; the euro and loonie rise while the dollar continues to falls. He lets religion influence his politics and thus we don't have research in stem cells and he refuses to be harsh on American automakers and impose mpg regulations and refuses to sign the Kyoto Protocol or take any though environmental positions. He has the worst foreign policy of any president we've ever had and the entire world hates us as he continues to propagate the myth that the terrorists attack us because we are free while Osama Bin Laden has told us he ordered the attacks because of our military bases in Saudi Arabia and our ongoing support of Israel.

That's just a few. There are literally hundreds more.

You're ridiculously slanted.

Bush wasn't actually for invading Iraq as of September 11th. It was I think Wolfowitz who was really pushing for it, and maybe Rumsfeld, but not Bush. And you can't blame him for recieiving bad information, I don't agree with the war in the first place, but if he did get information from his sources, he can't be put completley at fault.

The Patriot Act isn't the largest. Abraham Lincoln actually suspended Habeus Corpus and other rights during the Civil War in order to keep the Union together. Not to mention the Clear And Present Danger Clause that suspends the freedom of speech in a time of war.

The US Economy goes in cycles, there are always recessions. There was one in 1990...and now is about the time for another. I agree with you that he isn't helping that much.

Religion should be separate from government, but it never is. His moral beliefs are derived from his relgious beliefs, and he has to use his morals during his presidency, so I don't know what you expect from him. It's damn stupid not researching stem cells though.

Automaker stuff is crap too. So is the Kyoto Protocol since we were pushing so hard to get it create it and then we freaking back out at the end.

He does suck at foreign policy...And why the terrorists are attacking us is way beyond me, other than we are kind of dicks. I think it's ironic we have use a war to promote democracy. You shouldn't have to force the right to vote down someones throat. And we can't just give the middle finger to Isreal at this point, that whole deal is crazy complicated though.

Former Treasury Secretary: Bush planned Iraq invasion before 9/11

I'm assuming you're Libertarian, right? Well what I said about the Patriot Act was straight from the mouth of Andrew Napolatino.

You seem to agree with me on stem cells...

Auto makers have had DECADES to slowly raise their average MPG. Instead, they chose to do nothing and now they should face the consequences.

We agree on his foreign policy...

I guess I wasn't so slanted afterall.

That's weird. Because in 10 Days in September Bush was very reluctant to go to war, I had never seen that source before. I don't know exactly where it is in 10 Days in September, but you can read through the whole thing if you want, I think it's on The Washington Post website.

No, I'm not... Fox News is stupid bythe way.

How do you put pressure on Automakers to raise their MPG? I actually don't know. Unless you want the government to completely overstep their boundaries.

No, you were. Saying he lied means that he purposefully gave misinformation, which he didn't do. He might of actually, but there is no proof. You saying "The Largest Assault on Civil Liberties" alone is slanted...And what you said isn't even necessarily true. The economy isn't only Bush's fault. It's also due to the fact that Americans are greedy as hell, the housing market anyways. And we don't necessarily agree on foreign policy for him, we just both know he sucks at it.

Whether or not I think Bush is a bad president, which I think he is, isn't important. You just gave twisted information that wasn't even really truth, but information that was only partially presented, and then others were opinion.

Wikipedia is an awesome site. But you can't really trust it as a source, especially in an argument.

Oleg_Huzwog

When it's a summary full of citations from trusted sources (as was the link I provided), it most certainly can be used in arguments.

Nah, you gotta use the sources listed at the bottom and then go to directly that site to be able to cite it as fact. You can't just use the wikipedia website.

Specific examples, please, because this isn't true...

According to wikipedia, he has yet to pardon a single person who has not served a full sentence.

Not I, I think his policies are brilliant, the war on Iraq may have been the most brilliant political move since the Treaty of Versailles, and he has done wonders for the American economy. In short, he is my hero.CrimzonTide

I can't tell if this is a joke or not...

I mean, the Treaty of Versailles? The same treaty that set the stage for WWII by completly screwing over Germany even though it wasn't their fault?

And wonders for the American Economy? I mean, I understand that the economy goes through cycles but I am positive he isn't helping. What he is trying to do for the housing market isn't doing much...

Okay, other things he did wrong.

War in Iraq- whether or not he had "good intentions" it was unnecessary at the time and definately isn't what we needed to do.

No Child Left Behind- Good idea, terrible terrible application. It needs more funding. As of now it is just keeping subpar schools, subpar.

Health Care- I personally think everyone should be gauranteed health care. Especially the 15 million or so children.

Immigration-He's sure done a lot with this one...

Bush really didn't do any good at all during his presidency. He handled post 9/11 really well. ANd initially made the right moves, consulting all different types of people. But he made some serious errors, and now he is just complete crap and is a lame-duck president. He sucked so much he can't do anything at this point.

[QUOTE="quiglythegreat"]If she's single, you are doomed. Wait for her to get in a relationship, which will not be long if so many guys persue her and simply make it your business to be more appealing than the Joe she's going out with.blooddemon666

Wow, that is quite possibly the most dick thing anyone could ever do.

I've seen it work... on multiple occasions.

I've half done it actually, I had a girl break up with her boyfriend, but he was an abusive ****

Him being abusive is different from you just wanting to bang her.
