great dude! that's what i wanted to see. when my ps3 arrives in march, i can finally kick my noise pc out of the room! back to the question why anyone should install Linux on the PS3...in my opinion because you can easily expand the multimedia features of the ps3. you are able to play every format you like, you can use lots of applications and the black beauty is already hooked up to my tv, which means that i can finally watch my fansubs via tv. i'll have more space in my room because my pc will be put out. another aspect is that you have access to many great and free software. that are some of the possibilities that everybody could consider and some that especially i consider. don't get me wrong. i don't use my pc for gaming reasons. i work with a macbook pro now so i only use my pc to store data.Well all software is FREE, its not slow as can be seen from the video i made split into 3, i can use it on my 50" HDTV in the main room without having to move to a small monitor, can watch all my movies on big telly, can browse the web from comfort of my couch etc, it also has multiple desktops and can play avi files, emulators, torrents, network to networked pcs, and it doesnt crash . Ive now moved my main media centre pc out of the main room and replaced it with the gorgeous ps3>>>
