@Lamesy You can always play offline, or join Way of the Blue for help against invaders.

@IncinX It's not JUST to make it harder on people doing co-op from an invasion standpoint. Dark Souls is basically not meant to be played in pure co-op mode. Sure, you can summon people every now and then if you need some help with a particularly tricky section of the game, but the devs want you to learn how to get through by yourself. As I said, Dark Souls isn't meant to be a co-op game, it's meant to be a pure single player game with some pretty unique multi-player aspects.

@Raxyman @bfa1509 The thing about the invasions is that it's supposed to add the the stressful, intense nature of the game. They want you to be cautious and stressed out and scared that you can get killed at any moment, and this element adds to that aspect of the game.

@The_Floodhunter @tightwad34 I actually think the white soapstone changes actually discourage ganking, especially since they're now on a timer. I mean, you'd basically have to stack up white soapstones in order to keep your friendly phantoms around for a while. And there is a time limit, which get's reduced with each enemy that is killed by the phantom. Not to mention the Way of the Blue covenant existence, which I think they may allow as a safety net.

@tightwad34 As ENB stated in his video (or maybe I should say ENP-Epic Name Papa), the invasion in undead form may have been a fix they wanted to implement in Dark Souls. I mean, there were far more advantages to running around in Undead form than in Human form, especially if you were playing offline. With the new changes, they're making it less beneficial to constantly be in undead form, which, imo, is a good thing.

@udubdawgz Edit that to Radical Minority of the Muslims in the middle east, and you'll have the correct statement.

@Xanitra You do realize that they're not changing the very core experience don't you? They're just adding a few things to make certain aspects of the game more or less punishing and/or tedious.

@fanirama You can always join the Way of the Blue covenant if they're giving you a hard time.

@WolfGrey @radikel I especially like the reduction of health on subsequent deaths change.

@alrepairs @bruno_fmenedes @NeonNinja @deershadow The removal of the ,5 from the scoring system is a very recent change. Less than a month old, at least from what Tom McShea said on the Rayman Legends Review for Wii U.
