Somehow I just don't feel like Microsoft really understands that saying "his views don't reflect our views" doesn't suddenly make the situation better. Having a console that people have made a pretty big deal about, and not in the "lol Wiimote" sort of deal, isn't exactly something you should be considering as a serious product. Then to have a person in your employ say "WTF you guys talking about, this stuff is all anyone is going to do so just shut up and take it" isn't something that can be brushed aside with a single press release. While Microsoft is too big a company to be seriously in danger from such an attitude, this isn't a situation that it really should be sticking itself into.

Hopefully someone with a bit more tact in Microsoft will actually figure out what actually needs to be done, and it's not a simple press statement like they seem to think it is...
