Every RE article is the same thing. People bitching about the new RE, people asking for the old tank gameplay style back, people making up stuff to justify why they think 4 through 6 suck and so on. Get over it people, RE1-3 has a dated gameplay style and it is not coming back. I loved RE4 for what it did to the series and seriously, anyone who has complaints about RE5 must not have played it in co-op. However, I have to agree with those against RE6 (in parts). I only played the demo and as someone said, the only thing that resembled RE was Leon campain (or, level, whatever). Chris' was pure Gears of War and that other guy's couldn't be more L4D. People also used to complain that the movement was stiff and not being able to move while aiming was stupid. Did you move while aiming in RE1-3? No! Did not moving work in RE4-5? Yes. Did moving work in 6? Not at all.
Now that I got it all out of my system, lemme say that I'm really excited for Revelations. I liked the idea since I heard about it on the 3DS but since I don't have any plans for buying the portable anytime soon, it's good to see it coming to the home consoles.
That was stupid. I liked the ending though. "Would you like to press the button again? That'll make you feel better". I'm not fond of british humor, but sometimes you guys just hit the nail in the head! ^^
Pretty pathetic excuse for an article (as it has been with anything on Gamespot for a long time now). I really wasn't expecting anything from the Wii U and I found the two first points pretty disturbing indeed. Specially when Peter talks about those long load times in the system menu. However, complaining about USB speed and particularly, about the content transfer method pushed too far. I have to cope with the "oh so slow" USB 2.0 speed daily and the transfer method doesn't seem to differ that much from transfering content from one 360 to the other; something most of us have already had to deal with at some point. By the way, I own an external 1TB HDD (USB 3.0) which I use in USB 2.0 ports oftenly; it doesn't have external power supply and I don't need any Y cables to use it. Ever.
Well, at least this Schatz guy aknowledges he's old and boring, as soon as he realises he's also full of himself he will be the master of self-awareness.
