@surferosh @ecs33 I understand that. 8 should be enough but machines have been able to have 8 GB's for 6+ years now! I just thought it was going to be 16 that's all.

Question for console should be is this utilizing triple channel or dual channel memory? Speed is more important than total capacity when talking about consoles.

8?? The GPU isn't bad but 8 seems a bit small. My PC has 16 GB's of ram and i'm maxing out the mobo capacity of a mobo that's about 5 years old..lol

Our politicians are a threat to freedom. It doesn't matter if you are Republican or Democrat. You can see this with the current gun debate and the soon to be widespread domestic use of drones to spy on citizenry.

In order for our politicians to effectively "protect" us, your 1st, 2nd, and 4th ammendments will eventually be repealed. The only way we can stop this is to stop putting the same people in office and maybe put in term limits for congressmen.

@uklegendkiller You shouldn't need a high speed internet connection to authenticate a game. Only a small size of packets are being exchanged in this case.

It was scary at first when I was 6. But you're right, when I play nowadays it's just about the mass killing of enemies.

They would need to make Doom 4 have an arcade yet scary feel, just like the original games. Doom 3 was way too survival horrorish and didn't have the same fun factor that the originals had.

I can see Doom 4 having success if they take what was fun about the originals and keep the atmosphere of 3. It's not an easy feat, though.

@atopp399 Yes..computer engineers tend to make alot of money. As a jr. database administrator i'm making in the 60's..only 3 years out of college. It would have been even more if I took the full ride that VA tech offered me out of highschool for software engineering. Oh well, hindsight is a bitch.
