@repalioaderfes: Shadowrun was cross play between 360 and PC all the way back in 2007. The results were that PC players regularly dominated despite all the advantages they tried to give 360 players to balance it. For example, they got aim assist, PC didn't. They also gave PC players drastically worse weapon spreads. Didn't help. Microsoft hasn't tried it again since as far as I know.
My first instinct when I saw that they'd put a woman in charge was to start thinking up some sort of chauvinistic joke. Then I realized she was the lady who was in charge of Windows 7 (and following that I actually finished reading the article and felt less clever). Made me think, hey, if she can turn the mess that was Windows Vista into the fairly enjoyable and useful Windows 7, she might actually be the right person for this job after all, provided she remembers what she did there and avoids screwing it up like Windows 8 was.
My first thought is that they could probably make a half decent film out of Arthas if they wanted to. Before he became the Lich King he led an interesting life. Lotta stuff they could pull from.
@Darkwalker75 @Cloud_imperium @M3SS3NG3R If memory serves EA used to have an MMO that was an Eve ripoff that had to fold because it was losing them a ton of money. Maybe they'll just stick to Star Wars and leave the realistic space games to people who know how to do them.
@ArabrockermanX @ziproy The US constitution has a clause that discusses copyright. Look up the phrase "Copyright Clause" if you're curious on the details, but it definitely would apply to this case.
They need to resurrect Titan mode from BF2142 and let us have 32v32 battles above and on a planet as we try to take down the enemy command ship. I could see that being a blast if handled right. Imagine dogfights going on all around you and massive explosions rocking the planet below, and on board your ship you and a few friends are trying to hold off the boarding party so you can keep up the planetary bombardments. I'd spend months playing something like that if done right.
Combat for this reminds me of Devil May Cry or maybe an improved version of Dirge of Cerberus. Guess it might work out but I feel like they're going to alienate a lot of their old fans with it. I can think of at least 3 people I know off the top of my head who love playing RPGs but will never clear a game that requires any sort of hand eye coordination or quick reactions.
