Because GameSpot in general inflates the score of PlayStation 4 games and overlooks glaring faults while harshly criticizing Xbox One games and being overly analytical.
Case in point, The Last Guardian, horrible controls, absolutely terrible, and performance that averages 24 FPS with dips down to as low as 10 FPS, and it got a 9/10...
GameSpot, your preferential rhetoric has become wholly transparent, turn your website into another Yahoo.com, because that's about as valid as this place is anymore.

Homosexuality is a reality of our world, however it's a sexual orientation as the result of an incorrect genome configuration in the human brain, and nothing more, it's for the lack of better words, a genetic defect. Teaching children about things like this is not wrong under proper context and at the right time, but forcing advertised propaganda into a video game rated for children is.
As I said, it begs the question, it's an adult minded narrative with connotations and topics which children don't need to know about and frankly shouldn't be introduced to. Sexual education for example doesn't happen until kids reach the ages of adolescence, and for very good reason, they're not mentally equipped to understand or handle these concepts.
You can make the homosexual community out to be a harmless force in the world but largely it's not. Sexual orientation has zero bearing on personality traits, general social behavior, the vocal chords, conversation or any other measurable metric of the human condition, it's a sexual orientation, nothing more, nothing less.
I know, I have met and I and am friends with multiple people from this community, and the problem they are faced with as homosexuals more than any other is flagrancy within their own community, the gross exaggeration of what a homosexual is.
The people who march down the streets naked or wearing mostly nothing at pride parades, people who take part in pride parades, the ones who exert awkward physical postures, the ones who intentionally change the timber of their voice to sound more feminine or masculine, the ones who drastically alter their physical appearance, the ones who shove their sexuality down your throat at every turn and have to make it public knowledge that they take one for the team so to speak.
Those people are dangerous, those people make up a large sector of this community, those people are a caricature of what it is to be homosexual, and do you know what a real homosexual actually is? The person who is just like you and I in every possible way so that you can't even tell, the only defining difference of their being is they have a same sex partner.
The caricature of homosexuality is every bit a part of homosexuality as homosexuality is itself, and children do not need to know of or be exposed to that disgusting flagrancy which will not only greatly confuse them, but is more damaging to the normalized homosexual community than anything else.
Flagrancy is why homosexuality has been hated and continues to be hated, flagrancy is why it is still largely unaccepted, this is exactly why children have no business being shown anything related to homosexuality at these young ages because flagrancy tags right along with it.
@kyelo: A charged narrative is one which is forced on someone or into something, in this case it's a video game that kids play and a sexually related agenda. Children not understanding something is not the point, there's a reason there's not cigarette and alcohol advertisements in games like this, it's not appropriate and it doesn't fit the rating standards.
Regardless of what you think this is sexually derived content, that is the origin of this and it's an adult narrative whether you choose to believe it or not. I don't care about it being for the homosexual community, the LGBT community, the trans community, the straight community, whatever, whomever, it doesn't matter.
Sexual related concepts of any kind, of any capacity, have no place in these kinds of channels where children are directly involved.
@kyelo: It's about the subject matter, it begs the question, it's introducing sexually charged narratives into a sports game with age ratings applicable for children.
I understand what Russia is saying here, and frankly I agree and you need to think about this rationally. It is sexual propaganda, however you want to view it, it's sexual propaganda in an E/Pegi 3 rated game, this has no business in games which children are directly exposed to.
Homosexuality is a sexual orientation just as is heterosexuality, not a lifestyle construct, not a social construct, not a way of life, not who you are. It's the predication of who you're attracted to and have sex with, that's what it is.
I have no issue with people showing support for that and equal rights etc but it needs to be through the proper channels, a sports video game which is rated to levels that children play is not the proper channel for this message.
