The real problem here is the rating system itself. A rating scale of 1-10 would mean..

1-absolute trash

5-average

10-perfect

For some reason anything rated as less than an 8 is regarded as something we shouldn't buy and that just isn't right at all. Also, the games with popular names and hyped titles seem to get ratings that are higher than less know games, and that just isn't right at all. I won't offend anyone by mentioning a title , but we all know it is happening, don't want to irk the advertisers i guess.

Wouldn't want to bother the game review website with actually reviewing games.

There are alot of decent games that never get reviewed on these sites.

No, as others have stated it isn't the best because it misses out on alot of good multiplayer features. Any game that depends on live so heavily loses some points in my book.

I would also like to see some more of these "great" multiplayer games featuring some interesting modes of play, not just the standard deathmatch and capture the flag modes. Support for bots/enemies in multiplayer would be nice also.

My vote for best multiplayer game would probably be split between timesplitters 2/3 and goldeneye 64.

I am going to get Wireless Broadband in the next month or so but am not 100% sure about the X360 Wireless Network Adapter. Does it pick up all the frequencies and is it as fast as wired? I was gonna get normal wired internet but its easy for me to get wireless.GameMasterCraig

When you say wireless broadband do you mean wireless internet through a cell phone provider or a wireless access point for your home network? Both will be slower than a wired connection.

Halo 3 is 2 player coop on the same machine, 4 player coop over system link or xbox live.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance is pretty good.

There is no "ban" on AO games. A "ban" is something that the government does. The rating system in the US isn't even mandatory, its voluntary.

The big console makers simply don't make AO games, and companies like Walmart , Target , etc won't carry them even if they were made.

The Wii may have a couple "hardcore" type games, but it doesn't cater to hardcore gamers at all. It uses last generation graphics with a new remote. It is designed for casual gamers, children, and as a secondary system for those that own a Xbox360 or PS3.

They need to implament age oriented profiles so that adults can select an "adult only" box when creating and joining games.

trying to play halo2 on xbox live pretty much killed the entire xbox live experience for me.

I am 25 and one of the first toys I can remember playing with is an Atari. If it were not for older gamers there wouldn't be any games at all.
