Keep in mind that Konami owns the franchise now and the company hasn't been releasing many titles or at least at the same rate as Capcom.  Yes, we all want more Silent Hill or Suikoden games, but I think it would be interesting if Konami made some sort of comeback in the fighting genre.  I think they can do something with Bloody Roar series and by that I mean revamping the mechanics and making it more competitive and fun at the same time.  I was just playing through the games going back to back and the ones that stuck out to me the most are 2 and 3.  I liked 3 a lot mainly for the speed of its gameplay. Now, what does the game need to work on?

1.  Combos may need some readjustment as it feels repetetive with some characters.  better balancing.

2.  Better impacts and animations.  There are times I don't quite "feel" how hard a punch or kick is.  They all look like they are delivering the same amount of impact.

3.  Better implementation of Beast mode. BR4 is a bad or sloppy example.  Honestly, I don't think any of BR games is doing it right and I don't know what they need to do to fix it.

4.  Give characters all a fresh look.  Replace some characters. Ok, I know people think I'm crazy, but most characters look bland to me especially after 3.  Alice looks boring as hell in PR and 4. I don't care what people think, but I think "sexy" is the right away of approaching the characters for both males and females.  Not because other fighting games are like that, but this game is just moaning "sexiness" from all directions.

5.  I want them implement a system where an animal is weak against a certain type of animal type of thing kinda similar to Tekken.

6.  Fox Engine

7.  Game needs to be fast pace just like 3 at least.

8.  Beast form needs more detail and better animation.  When they go back to human form. I would like to see parts of their clothes torn off and maybe barefooted.  I would also like them to consider this "half beast" thing like maybe they have 2 different transformation levels for "some" characters, while some retail some human features even in their fully beast state form.  Don't go far off with the designs (Chimera and Dragon).

9.  Better character introduction/pose.

10.  Better voice acting and no more stupid stories.

If Konami/Eighting can turn these series around with a reboot, I can see a lot of possibilities happening.  Maybe someday we will see a 3D fighter with Marvel characters (not 2D like Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3) where they would use Bloody Roar's engine.  If given the budget and time, I think Eighting would turn into quite an interesting developer in the fighting genre.

If the rumors are true about a sequel happening, I think it's time Capcom Vancouver step out of the cave and show us what the company has been working on.

If it weren't for some games, I wouldn't even have gone out to buy a Wii and 360 console. PS3 is a rather disappointing console mainly due to the lack of RPGs and horror games. I really hope next year is different where all third party developers go multiplatform, so we can buy it for the console we like.

So far Nintendo has expressed their downs regarding the sales of the 3DS, so I guess we should continue to do so then. I don't even have a 3DS yet, so I guess that's a good thing.

People at IGN has started one. They've written a letter to Reggie, so I was wondering if anybody has started on this site.

I think it's time. They need to listen to their dear customers. I simply want Xenoblade and The Last Story (and Pandora's Tower), so I won't support any future Nintendo products until they are out.

Feel free to replace Bayonetta with Sam Gideon. When I thought of Sam, I couldn't ignore Bayonetta as it was the first game I played from Platinum games. IMO, I thought the design of Bayonetta was pretty unique. Other people say she just doesn't look right, but isn't that true for most characters in the entire video game industry? Bayonetta is simply outrageous purposely done right...or wrong lol.

It will really help if you can explain why you like the design. Feel free to post pictures. Can you please limit yourself to just 5 maximum for each (best/worst)? You can also divide it by sex if you want to. Note: Worst design doesn't equal a bad game.

Best

1. Trip from Enslaved: Journey to the West - The facial mo cap was done pretty well up to the point where I would list her under one of the most attractive characters in video games.

2. John Marston from Red Dead Redemption - He got pretty scars and good taste for outfits.

3. Shinobu from No More Heroes 2 - We've seen enough of Travis's punkness in the first game, so it's time that Shinobu steals the spotlight this time. Just love the hair and the loli....i mean her scarf.

4. Rebecca Chang from Dead Rising 2 - If there's one thing I hate about gaming is that developers never seem to get the asian girls look right. You see, Blue Castle tone down the asian features for Rebecca Chang that most developers wouldn't normally do cause they're too afraid not to make them asian enough.

5. Bayonetta from Bayonetta - I always had a thing for tall librarian girls with glasses... She got style, period.

Worst

1. Madison from Heavy Rain - Some of you find her sexy, but not me. I think is her short hair that killed the design. I can't even say she's tomboyish either. The other characters are fine to me.

2. Syd from Quantum Theory - Very sloppy and bland design in a sloppy game. It's like they were trying to design an ugly character and the best they could do is give him this x shaped scar on his forehead. The organic armors look like something out of the sewer, oh wait...

3. Snowe from Final Fantasy XIII - This is by far one of the most disappointing designs ever. Somehow he doesn't appear like he even belongs in the game. Really don't get the coat and hood at all.

4. Any character from Fallout New Vegas - Speechless.

5. Any character from Everquest II - I really don't want to explain.
