GW2 is not a bad game, but I do have mixed feelings about it. First off, let's leave WOW off the table, I played that game to death for a few years but there's a limit and WOW is over for me.

As for the holy trinity, yes, I used to play a healer in EQ and WOW in lots of raids (played both starting in release). To be honest I rather miss that, but GW2 is *not* that. But with it I don't get emails begging me to logon cause my guild needs healers. Which is nice.

I think it's a solid game. The crafting system could be better. I found that playing around with different classes makes it more interesting.

The irony is over the years on the EQ and WOW boards I've seen thousands of posts about not wanting to be forced to group. So someone puts out a game like that and people complain. To each his own.

I love rpgs, and although Skyrim and Dark Souls are both rpgs, they're really not the same genre. They're totally different in terms of the world, the gameplay, the lore and the story.

Skyrim is huge. Dark Souls is big and hard. Skyrim has great voice acting, music and graphics. DS has great ambience and graphics. DS has a better combat system that takes time to master.

Really, it depends on whether you want to explore a huge world with tons of quests or you want to do a tense, sometimes frustrating but ultimately rewarding dungeon crawl.

If you buy both you won't need another game for months - there is so much value in both of them they will suck up your life.
