i could (and do!) spend hours playing horde and beast, but usually with just randoms. some success on the leaderboards, would like to climb a little higher. female gamer and only on xbox short time, so my skills are below average, but i try to support the better players as much as possible. i have daytime availability. reply with your gamertag if you have the patience. i like to laugh, but no inappropriate comments etc. i'm a team player, nothing bothers me, i just want the team to score well. thanks

I've been having fun playing Horde during the current "12 days of Gearsmas" promotion. I have been lucky and played with some really decent players (just random people through LIVE). I just learned the "active reload" last night (ugghhh... nobody ever told me about that). so now I'm wondering what else I should have learned. i know it's mostly keeping in cover, staying close to teammates, keeping to higher ground if possible, using meat shield from time to time, getting first strike on tickers to avoid them blowing up, active reload. What else am i missing? I usually loadout with the hammerburst and try to grab grenades and ammo. sometimes i pick up a gun (for instance the flame thrower) that ends up ruining my game because i don't know how to use it right. the match usually goes like this: i empty 100 rounds of ammo into various enemies, with about 60% accuracy or so. I THINK i kill them, but when the score screen comes up i have either 0 kills or 2 kills while everyone else has 10 kills. i also end up either dead or needing to be revived during most waves. if you can tell me what weapons i should grab that would help alot.... and why am i not getting credit for my kills? thanks so much to all of you who put up with noobs like me... i really WANT to learn and get better. merry gearsmas everybody

My skills are pretty random right now, but I am willing to put in the practice for the right team. I've played mostly one-player games or one-player modes up until last month. My one players are: God of War Collection, God of War 3, Dead to Rights, Prototype, Wet, Darksiders and all the stuff listed above. what is the best way to gain a few friends of a similar level (just starting out) to play online multiplayer games and online coops? most gamers seem to be way more experienced in the games and if they are competing against me i get annihilated pretty quickly and if it is co-op they probably get frustrated. if i can get a few players that are in the same situation, we could all gain skill together. games that i like: resistance fall of man, resident evil 5, blacklight (coming soon), fear 2, soul caliber, army of two. i have a bunch of experience with 1 player games, but this is the first time i've tried online..... thanks!
