I think I'll go with the 2900xt 1GB GDDR4. I hear ATI's new cards are based on a unified shader architecture, and earlier benchmark results I saw seemed to indicate that in heavily shader based games the 2900 usually beat the rival Nvidia card, but Nvidia usually came out on top in most other games. Also, note that these were early results I saw, and it could just be a driver issue that is holding back the ATI cards. We will have to wait and see though when the true DX10 games come out which cards, ATI's or Nvidia's, come out on top. Also, I'm not a 'fanboy" of ATI or Nvidia. I'll just get which company is making the better cards at that particular time.

Half Life is one of the greatest fps EVER period. Half Life 2 is THE BEST FPS EVER better than Halo 2,hell Halo was better than Halo 2. I still think Half Life 2 is the best though, cant wait for episode 2.
