I Agree with most of what he said, but on what I disagree with it is based solely on my preferences. During my playthrough I never encountered that bug but I also didn't switch charachters. The AI only became idiotic once for me when playing as Leon you fought off the zombies until they open the church doors but the AI didn't want to come to the door. However, this only happened once for me, so not much of a knock at all. Where him and I differ is in the online play. I agree that Agent Hunt is crap but not because it's a bad idea, like he said, the controls are awful. I have fun dropping into random peoples games and playing along with them, unless they are an asshole then I leave. Mercenaries online is pretty fun, but they need more maps. I still have a hard time wrapping my head around how well they did the story.

This isn't the first crap review I read from him and sometimes I wonder if rating games for a living makes you jaded and tends to make you out of touch with the rest of the gaming world. Aside from that I have completed all 4 campains, played The Mercenaries alot and dabbled for hours in the Agent Hunt, probably playing the game more than he did. I agree with few parts of this interview. One is that sometimes the stick wiggling or button mashing does get a little too demading, often forcing you to use your index finger and not your thumb to mash the button, but hey, it never ruined my fun. The other being that the China hallways were a bit of a headache due to the over the shoulder camera. That is all I agree with. He compalined about not being able to put all the pieces together until after Wong's campaign, I liked being immersed in this game for that long to figure out just what went on, and I also enjoyed how the game kept me guessing as to what was going on. I played them in order, Leon first, Chris second, Jake third, and of course Wong last. The gunplay and action of the firefights (much like RE:ORC) went unnoticed. I guess running around like morons hip firing and then laying low to heal, much as in CoD, has become the disastrous norm, even to reviewers. Out of all his complaining I'm shocked he didn't mention the worst part of the gameplay overall that even I couldn't stand; the awful stealth sequences in Jake's and Ada's campaigns. This is the last time I come to this site for a game review, which I have been coming to for years. From here on out it's the Metacritic score, Game Informer, and my own ability to think for myself and use these rating as a guide. And this one was a bust, and the last for me. Farewell Gamespot. I just find it funny how he complains about the quick time events while they were in the RE games since RE4, not as much as RE6 but they were still trial and error just as they are now. Remember the knife fight between Leon and Krauser in RE4? Piss off VanOrd.

Yeah, that's why I got bored with it about the same time you did. I also played D2:LoD intermittently up until about a year before D3 from the time the LoD expansion came out. There really isn't alot to see in D3. The grinding isn't fun and the AH is a lame joke with tards picking thier own ridiculous prices. Like you said too, each charachter feels like the other. Nothing is unique. And why are my stat points automatically allocated? Why can my sorc wield barbarian style weapons and yield more damage than something you'd think a sorc would use, like a staff or a wand? The legendary weapons suck. There are no runewords, and I can't go between acts from the waypoints. Why? Maybe they will make an expansion that will fix some of these problems and help bring some of us that liked how D2:LoD was but I don't think they will.

No, I am not. I am very aware that the PC has many great "mature" titles but to say that they have more wouldn't be factual and couldn't even be proven. The games I consider "mature" for PC which hasen't made it to consoles yet are titles like Total War or Planescape: Torment. MMO's are not mature, but that's my opinion. If console ever would get such titles as Total War , and have it as playable as the PC version. The question is "What is mature?". I think games that invole a deep intriguing storyline and characters or something that offers gameplay and is so intricate and you can still be learning new things after 100+ hours of play. The latter can be said about many games ranging from MMOs to strategy genres to online fighting games and on to something like Demon's Soul's. Highly opinionated arguement as to what is "mature", don't you think? Even more opinionated is to think PC rules the roost in this regard, showing much personal bias and/or lack on knowledge in console games. Care to enlighted me as to which PC games you see as "mature"? If you do I can endulge you back with console games which I view as "mature". From there we can go back and forth in a debate which will have no winners.

Kudos on the smart remark at the end, that made me laugh :-P

Heavy Rain was a unique game, but I could hardly call it fun. Arkham City is much, much better.

Yeah, you have just as many "mature" titles as the consoles do, and I don't mean mature in rating. Crysis is mature? BF3 is mature? CoD started out on PC in the first place. Silent Hill 2 tells one of the best stories I can remember in somewhat recent gaming. The Final Fantasy titles (Some of them) told great stories, and so did many PSone era games. Likewise, Pc has some very good titles too, such as Half Life and Amnesia: The Dark Decent, and don't bring up Dear Esther, it's not even a game. You enjoy seeing only one side and believing it to be much superior without exploring much of the knowledge and history of consoles and thier games. If your reply contains any of the following lame-overused phrases you should not even be posting; "7 year old tech", "Butthurt", "Console kiddie", "Trollolol", "Total fail", and last but not least and my personal favorite, which in this case is ironic, "Ignorant console fanboy". Later.

@suplax @mateyman

Yeah, lol. I made the Bad COmpany reference because I was pulling a mateyman and turned my volume off but had my headset plugged in and I just kept seeing his name pop up onscreen indicating he was talking. After about 20 minutes of seeing his name I got curious about what was so important and wow! That guy had some issues for sure.
